I ordered these for the first time and wasn't sure if they would work or not. Normally I buy the earplanes that are used for one trip and tossed. These worked really well! I have trouble with my right ear and have a lot of discomfort when I fly, and afterwards too. I still had the fullness after the flight, but I had little to no pain while flying.
Worked really well, better than Earplanes. Inserted before take-off, removed when at cruising altitude and re-inserted prior to descent.
I often have pain during take-off and landing no matter what I've tried. With this product, no problems!! They work!
These really helped me! I have very small sinuses and have struggled with ear pressure relief since I was a small child. These made a big difference, although they didn't completely stop the pressure from building up (it was so much more manageable than usual, though). However, the pressure relieved itself aka "ears popped" within about an hour of getting off the plane (Minneapolis to Anchorage, so it was a longer ride), whereas usually I can barely hear for the rest of the day, so that was definitely a benefit. I'm giving it 4 stars only because my ears are pretty small and so is the opening to my ears and these are so large that they made my ears really sore! I'd trade that for having the pressure, but it's still not desirable.
After several episodes of airlane ear pain during takeoff and landing, I tried these on a recent flight. They were easy to use and allowed enough sound to come through so that I could understand what my companion was saying. They were easy to insert and remove, and I had no ear pain at all.
I have very sensitive sinuses and usually get excruciating pain while flying due to the pressure changes, but not with these! They work great, no problems on my 16hour flight. They could be slightly more comfortable, but overall they are much better than the other plugs I have used.

My ears have trouble equalizing when I fly and I often have intense pain, days of stuffy hearing, and have even gotten an ear infection after flying before. It really takes the enjoyment out of traveling! I was skeptical of this product but was also desperate to do anything to ease the discomfort. Surprisingly, when I used this product, I had absolutely zero symptoms during my two recent flights! I was especially worried because they were long flights (US to Europe and back), but I apparently had nothing to worry about!
I used these in combination with sudafed and Afrin (meds suggested by my ENT) and I noticed a significant difference from previous flights where I just used the meds. I took them out once we hit cruising altitude so that I could listen to my headphones and they still worked, and they really do help muffle background noise while still allowing you to hear normal conversation. I won't be flying without them ever again!
I actually forgot to bring these on my last flight. I was bummed because that's why I bought them! I LOVE these. The best possible ear plugs for people who have problems in flights. My ears don't pop, typically. So these are a necessity. Keep in mind these are for changes in air pressure- NOT noise reduction or water protection.
I purchased these on a whim to try on a recent flight. Typically get extreme pressure build up and headaches from air travel. Using these on a cross-country flight helped significantly with reducing the pressure and no headache. As a frequent business traveler, I plan on using these each flight. The instructions state that they should be replaced after 5 uses, so I will purchase again.
These are the best thing that has ever happened to me! For my entire life I have suffered while flying with extreme ear pain and usually ended up with ear infections after. I tried everything - nasal spray, decongestants, earplanes, even pain medications and nothing worked, until now. I used these on my flight home from Paris into Boston. Anyone who has ever flown in to Logan knows how bad of a decent it is. I had zero pain my ears never popped. I cannot say enough about this product, I won't fly with out them again!
I’ve always loved flying and I’ve always had sinus problems. The past few times I flew I felt incredible pain during take off and landing. It felt as though my face was being split open with an axe! I had to sit in my car for hours at the airport last year because I couldn’t even drive home there was so much pressure/pain in my head and neck. I began to think I would have to abandon flying or get surgery. I bought these ear plugs after the last fiasco and they made a HUGE difference!
