I recently lost my holy grail tweezers and ordered these based on the excellent reviews. Maybe I received a defective pair but these tweezers are AWFUL. Often, when I go to grab a hair it'll simply break it, leaving behind everything beyond the point of contact. Further, if it doesn't break the hair it won't grasp it at all.. they're incredibly disappointing.
Would not recommend to a friend.

Upon writing my initial review, I was contacted by the company within hours. They immediately sent me a new set of tweezers (along with a hand signed note) and the new set is fantastic. I was excited for these and the needle point is great but the angled tweezers have a weird chip on the end used for plucking. Because it’s kinda thin, it cuts hair instead of pulling if you’re not super careful. Not easy to do.
I've had these now for two years. I'm a carpenter and I use these all the time. Multiple times per week. When I say these, I really mean the needle tip one. They came with a little vinyl cover to protect the tips. Don't loose this tip cover. You can drop these and damage the tips. I have learned how to take these to a stone and rehone them back to a needle tip. I've had to do this twice. Try not to let them fall. They came razor sharp. They are fine enough that they can in a th entry hole of a large splinter and pull it out. In the field these usually hurt real bad and your going for your razor knife to cut it out. Where these guys really accel is for those splinters you find the next day. The real tiny ones. Usually they are in there surprisingly deep. Use one of the tips as a probe and then you can start to peel the skin and expose the embedded splinter. Then pick the splinter. Compared to using slant tip twezers and a needle you end up with a wound 1/4 the size, if not smaller. It then heals faster. For the needle tip set alone, I 100% recommend these. For me it was a bonus that they came with a slant pair also.
I was getting my replacement Tweezerman and got this set in addition for a try. The set I received is surprisingly good, and the splinter tip tweezer is very comparable to my brand new Tweezerman when tested side by side. The slant tip does a decent job of grabbing multiple hairs but the splinter tip is superior of the received set. I am hoping the metal tip will stand the test of time, and if it doesn't, I'll update the review.
I walk several dogs in the desert daily, which results in all kinds of prickers, stickers and splinters in their paws and legs. These tweezers are made of a very solid metal and more importantly are large enough to fit securely in one hand while using the other to secure a paw. Also, they close with precision at all points on the tip so splinters can be yanked quickly and they are sturdy enough to really clamp down with some pressure to pull larger stickers like Cholla. Alternately, they are precision enough to get splinters that are so fine, they are like hair. I like the zip up labeled bag too, makes the set easy to locate.

I love these tweezers, I used them this morning to remove a steel splinter from my thumb. They way they are packaged is wonderful, you get a little cloth pouch to store them in. You can't go wrong with these tweezers. I would give them 6 stars if I could.
I finally got tired of the "fine" tweezers I had from the local stores...I needed one to remove the splinters my son constantly gets from playing around wood playground sets, lumber in my garage, etc. The local store bought fine tweezers, under 10x magnification, looked enormous and was difficult to get small splinters. These are the finest tweezers I've every used, pun intended.
The pair of tweezers I received were not well made. The two planes of metal on the angled pair did not connect at either end and the metal was not smooth. They did not work well at all. These will be going back.
Update: the seller contacted me shortly after my review was posted to apologize and tell me that they were sending a replacement pair. Once I receive the replacement I will update my review...but so far I would give them five stars for customer service.
The replacement pairs were much better, although the very tips of each end of the angled pairs are just slightly rounded, the planes of metal contact completely and these tweezers function well. Thanks again to the seller for reaching out and resolving the issue.
FINALLY...tweezers that actually work. I've purchased several pair of tweezers and they never seem to quite line up or work properly and I finally decided to check out amazon and read some of the feedback. These are a nice set, very much worth the cost and they actually WORK!! Very pleased and highly recommend.
I am totally 100% loving these tweezers. I needed some for when I am working on small parts with my STEM class. I really love that they have a case so I can find them easier in my desk. I didn't originally plan on using them to pull out any hairs, but since I got them I figured I could try them for that so my review would be more complete. They work great. You can choose which hair you want with the skinny pointy tip ones, and you can pull multiple hairs with the slanted tip ones.
For the purpose I actually wanted these for they work amazingly well too. They can get into some of the tiniest places with ease and I am able to much more easily fix things that are not working properly. I also love the fact that these can be used for multiple purposes.
