An icepack just was not working well for my shoulder. Heat bothered me way too much. I watched the video of someone who had a rotator cuff tear repaired just like me and he swore by the Clay Ice Pack. I ordered one and I agree with him. At first it was a little heavy for comfort but as my incision began healing I am very pleased I bought it. The Clay ice Pack maintains comfortable cooling relief.. If you have aches and pains don't hesitate. It is a great product.
This my first clay cold/hot pad recommended by a friend. Previously used the gel cold packs, This clay pad seems much colder and stays colder longer therefore need less time on injured area. I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend this product over the gel type cold packs.
The clay pack stays cold and adds a little weight. I can use it on 2 - 3 different areas before I put it back in the freezer. Planning to buy the larger one also.
I thought it would stay colder longer. But it works a bit longer than a gel pack and is a great size.
Performs as expected. Nice slow even heat distribution.

I've had some issues with ice packs in the past because they punctured too easily or didn't stay long enough. So far this product has been great!
My son needs to sleep with a ice pack on the back of his neck every night. He has Chiari Malformation and these have been so helpful. It fits perfect under his pillowcase and no need to worry about it moving out of place.
