I've bought a number of microwaveable heating pads over the years to use on my neck and shoulders. This is the only one I've found that actually stays in place. The beads remain evenly distributed, and the weight is very comfortable. I'd have preferred it without any scent, but fortunately the scent is pleasant and not too strong.
Just what I needed though I was surprised by the weight of it. However, it stays put on my shoulders so that is a plus.

I bought this for my husband who has a lot of neck issues and he absolutely loves it. There are times he needs a hot pack so he can heat it up and other times if he’s needing ice he can freeze it. The weight of it also puts enough pressure but not too much to relieve some stress tension in the shoulder and neck area.
