DenTek Comfort Clean Floss Picks | Silky Comfort Floss | 150 Count | 6 Pack

Love these dental picks! Makes flossing easy and not such a chore. Once you start flossing on a regular basis, you'll never really feel like you've cleaned your teeth without flossing. Just make sure you are gentle when pushing up, near your gums. I just wish they made these with bio degradable plastic..It would make so much sense!

Same product that I used to get from Walmart! The price is the same, too, making this purchase a no-brainer if you already use these and don't want to drive to the store!

For those who haven't used these, they have a flat piece of floss which I find easier to slip between my teeth. They also taste good and clean better than regular floss because food catches better on this wider floss.

These are so handy. I do hate to waste plastic, so I feel a little guilty about them. I would love to see them made of recycled plastic. That being said, they glide through teeth easily and even have a little mint flavor. The "pick" on the end is nice, but bends more than I had hoped. I HATE flossing my teeth, but these make it so easy, I do it much more regularly.

I've been using these for about a year now. Full disclosure: I used to have pretty terrible dental habits. I would often brush only in the morning and not before bed. I rarely flossed. It was always fun to go to the dentist and have the age old "How often do you floss?" conversation. "Oh, a few times a week." As if the hygienist couldn't tell from my slightly bleeding gums that I only flossed when there was something between my teeth.

Anyway, I started Invisalign clear braces at the beginning of 2014. They are great because you take them out when you eat, so you can eat whatever you want. However, you have to brush and floss before putting them back in otherwise they are basically incubators for acid, bacteria and cavities on your teeth. So I basically had to overhaul my dental habits. You can only have the aligner trays off your teeth for about two hours a day. So if I'm at a restaurant, I have to go to the bathroom after dinner and brush/floss. This makes speed/ease a priority, as I don't want to have people waiting for the weird guy brushing his teeth in the public bathroom.

I've found that the floss picks are a lot easier and quicker to use than regular floss. I'm a big guy (6'3") and have big hands, so I always found regular floss difficult to fit in my mouth. These make it much easier. You can do it one handed and quickly.

Pros:
-Easy to use
-Does a good job cleaning (according to my dentist at least) if you follow the instructions.
-Small and easy to carry in a pocket
-Resealable pouch keeps the dust out of the bag.
-Slide pretty easily between teeth.

Cons:
-I would say I break the floss on about 2 out of every 10 picks and usually on the first tooth. I have crowded teeth (hence the Invisalign), so it can be a tight fit. But honestly, I think some are just poorly made. This can be really frustrating if I'm away from home and I only have one in my pocket. Once that is broken: no flossing for me.
-The "pick" function of this is not great. It is somewhat flexible which makes it pretty ineffective. Not like a wooden pick.

I'm going with four stars because I agree with other reviewers that they are somewhat cheaply made.

Floss picks are pretty much floss picks, but when I received the package I was expecting 6 packs of them. Imagine my surprise when I opened to find only one pack!? But after a quick phone chat with Natasha in customer service, the problem was quickly rectified. Now the dental health of my family is greatly improved...Now if only Natasha can help encourage my preteen boys to do what must be done...

Reading some of these reviews is kinda funny. People 1 starring because they break while flossing, I mean, yeah, it’s floss. It breaks sometimes. You get another. I mean if you go through more than 2 at a time I think you have other issues that aren’t really the floss’ fault. Same type of people writing 1 star reviews for their treadmill because it gets dusty. Get a deep clean if you’re breaking these.

These dental picks are great if you have tight teeth that are difficult to floss with regular dental floss. These Dentek Comfort Clean Picks have a silky tape floss that slides between your teeth smoothly and easily. They really make it quite easy to floss your teeth and not so much a chore as it can sometimes be with regular dental floss. There's a slight mint flavor to them as well that can help you freshen your breath a little bit.

I've been using these for a year or so now, and like them very much. If I didn't have these, I wouldn't floss. It's just too hard for me to get my big hands to do the contorting that you need to use regular floss, and the straight floss picks are hard to do back teeth with. I use these for all my teeth. Once in a while (maybe once a month or so) the floss will break in one of them, but it hasn't really been a problem for me. I used to get them at Rite Aid, but now they're hard to find. I bought the six-pack, and that should keep me supplied for a year or more, with once-a-day use. I even gave a pack to a friend of mine who hated flossing the regular way, and he was extremely happy with them.

I like the product. The floss is comparable to the thickness of your normal string floss so it fits between teeth fairly easily. Most picks are either extra thick for more strength, or bordering on razor wire for a strong thin pick. So it really is a "comfort" floss in that it is easy on the gums. My only complaint about the product is that the quality has not been consistent. I have place three different orders of this product the first and the last one were great. The middle one was a much lower quality and the floss kept stretching a break during use. With the good quality pack I use one pick per flossing, but with the low quality one I was probably averaging 1.5 picks throughout the bag (some time I would have to use 2, and sometimes only 1). I am hoping the issue was only a one time occurrence, and at this time recommend the product.

I have to admit that I'm addicted to flossing and picking my teeth. I like the fact that I get these a lot cheaper through Amazon with Subscribe and Save, which ensures I won't run out. I gave them a four star because the string breaks sometimes, but not bad enough that I would switch to a different brand. I have really close teeth and have always had trouble with floss getting breaking or getting stuck in my teeth (not fun). This one breaks less often and doesn't get stuck. I like that the pick is thin and can fit easily between my teeth. As for the tongue cleaner, I haven't seen where it helps that much. As long as the price stays close to what it is now I will continue to repurchase these through Subscribe and Save.
