This product is absolutely amazing and the comb is by far the best comb I have ever used when treating lice. I bought this kit because my dark thick hair daughter brought home lice. I tried over the counter shampoo and got no where. I treated and retreated and combed her hair thoughly several times and yet it never went away. This producted arrived early and i used it as soon as it came in. It has a fruity smell, almost like a cherry candy. I applied it to her dry hair and let it sit for for 20 minutes and rinsed it out. I then combed her hair with the comb. Everyday since i have combed her hair and havent seen anything. It should be noted also that this is the ONLY comb I have seeb get the eggs out easily.
I rarely if ever write reviews this is the best purchase I’ve ever made!!!! Just one treatment after one who year battling lice with over the counter and prescription home remedies nothing worked on these super lice. It drove me to the brink of madness I wanted to cry, I called lice specialists I threw away their beds, got a new couch, bought them all new clothes, new bedding, I’ve sunk over 10,000 dollars in battleing love for my three children in one year. This product I was so hesitant about it’s all natural ingredients and in the past year home remedies helped the least. I was afraid and sceptical to spend almost 100 on just one item. It shipped quickly and within days headhunters where in my hands. Today I woke up and said today is the day grabbed the kids clothes, sheets, bedding, and pillows threw them in scolding hot water. Grabbed the most infested one and and started scrubbing away first thing I thought was it smells nice great no chemicals at all it’s not going to work at all darnit. Let it sit for 20 min and rinsed it out didn’t use shampoo or conditioner just rinsed like it says. Towel dried her hair put her on the chair and spend the next two hours combing her hair in 1inch sections I thought well I’ll count them very first brush I collected 60 eggs right in one brush. Second I didn’t count just kept going to town all together I must have collected over 500 nits from her hair I got a little concerned when I found no adult lice but then I looked on the white trash bag I had laying at her feet over 60 of them all dead they came out with brushing. My next daughter 300 nits and 20 adults my son 6 eggs (we keep is hair short) no adults myself 400 nits and 10 adults. I’ve already got another one ordered just in case. Buy this product it is true to its name it kills super lice!
I wish i ordered this first! I have 4 kids, 2 of them girls with long hair, and myself with long hair. We live in SW FL and we have had a super lice infestation. It's been horrible. I went to the drug store and purchased $80 worth of products, including hair dye for myself. Hair dye kills lice, especially if you bleach your hair. Works every time, and it's what I've always done for myself if there's lice around. But i can't dye my kids hair. Anyhow, we used the stuff i bought on the kids and an hour later the kids are itching again. The comb i had absolutely sucked at getting the nits out, and i combed forever. It's super lice- you can't hardly get rid of them! And since the kids still had them, i had them again. So i finally ordered this stuff. For all of us, i ordered the medium size bottle. That's less than i paid at the drug store for the stuff that did not work. The med. size bottle was big enough to do all 5 of us. The minute our heads were saturated, let me tell you. No More Itchy!!! It stopped!
We left the stuff on for an hour or 2, it's not chemical so it's not going to damage your hair. Safe for the littles! Then i rinsed it off, and it says you can shampoo and condition after. I put some tea tree oil in our shampoo again, that keeps from getting another infestation. Lice hate the smell- put some of that in the shampoo. And i swear to you, this stuff left our hair soft! Also- the comb you get with this is phenomenal. Really. That makes a huge difference! It's been almost a week now and we do not have lice. They're gone! But i do plan to do another treatment, we Still have some left.
If you're fighting super lice like I've been, save yourself the hassle (and the cash). Buy this first. Get some tea tree oil, wash your clothing/bedding/stuffed animals. Put anything too big to be washed into a trash bag and tie it shut. That's it! Lice is gone! I'm amazed!
I have been battling lice for over a year. I have bought everything under the sun, even from the UK, with minimal success. The first time I used this, tonight, the bugs were falling off my daughter. It was the most disturbing, yet most satisfying thing I have dealt with in a long time. Combing out was awesome, and showed me how poorly the other treatments did. I have spent over $1000 in the last year, and this product is truly the most amazing thing I have used. I balked initially at the cost (I bought two family sized bottles), but in the grand scheme of things it was minimal. I have bought from Lice Clinics of America. Little Bugs. Meticulous. Lice Free. Lice MD. Lice Eradicator. Lice Guard. Many essential oils and coconut oil, olive oil, combing, combing and combing. Nix superlice treatment. School time Shampoo. Lice Logic. Ladybugs. Clear Lice. Homeydoo Head Lice Shampoo. Hedrin from Great Britain. None of the above gave me the results of Head Hunters. Again, the bugs were falling off. My daughter had to change her clothes. The towel I was using had to be shaken off repeatedly, I vacuumed and tied off the bag I used to comb out her hair- so many gross bugs just...dead. I did use a hot iron after combing to fry the nits (since this infestation has gone on so long she has nits glued to her hair). I’m almost giddy to treat in two days, and feel confident we have a real winner here. Will be keeping in stock for future outbreaks. Just checked her head again before bed, and found one live critter. I am willing to bet that after the next treatment, there will be no live bugs, and a massive decrease in nits. I will continue to use the hot iron to fry the eggs, as the glue is nearly impossible to dissolve (conditioner, vinegar, coal shampoo). Will update in one week. By the way, this is my first review, ever, that’s how impressed I am with this product.
We used the OTC stuff that was supposed to kill bugs AND eggs, and an Rx that was supposed to do the same. Both said combing thru hair was not necessary, and since my daughter's hair is very long and thick, I didn't comb thru. We also thoroughly cleaned and bagged her room. 2 weeks later she got it again, or rather still had it!!!!! So we used the OTC stuff AGAIN and this time combed thru her hair. I continued to comb thru her hair every night after treatment and we continued to find eggs and live BUGS!!! So finally bought this stuff. First of all it smells nice, not that that's the requirement but it is more pleasant. The comb is way better than the combs you get in the OTC sets, and even better than the LiceMeister comb I have. So we combed thru her hair after the treatment, found dead bugs and eggs. Then we continued to comb thru every night for about a week and found a few eggs and baby bugs - until no bugs or eggs were seen for 3 days in a row. Now we're combing thru once a week (I'm paranoid now) and so far nothing. I don't think this stuff did anything that the other products did, but #1 it smells better and isn't harsh on the hair, and #2 the comb is amazing and works better than anything I've found. Moral of this story - you HAVE to comb thru the hair even if the product says it isn't necessary. They aren't killing the eggs anymore.

Description
These two salon-grade products work together to eradicate an active head lice infestation. WipeOut is a revolutionary treatment option for head lice because it destroys a louse from the inside out by causing a physical reaction instead of a chemical reaction. WipeOut utilizes ingredients that destroy Super Lice without harming the individual. Since a louse can sense moisture and shut down its orifices, WipeOut is designed to keep those orifices open to kill the louse from the inside. When paired with the Head Hunters Pro Lice Comb WipeOut works with just one application. After applying WipeOut, the Pro-Lice Comb removes deceased lice and their nits with steel, micro-grooved teeth. WipeOut is a professional product that will eliminate even the most difficult case of head lice. All of Head Hunters Naturals' products are all-natural and chemical-free for your safety.

I got this product few months ago after a long bout with lice. Living in Hawaii or any tropical climate, lice seem to survive forever. I knew when school started it would start all over again. Gotta say it smells great and does the trick. I left it on for over 20 mins but no burning or itching happened. Washed it out and dried with blow dryer. I used a diffuser on my kiddos afterwards. I will swear by it. Products are great but killing the eggs is the answer. This treatment on dry hair, wash, blow dry than 20 minutes of a diffuser and your good. I do it for 3 alternating days. So much better than the endless comb out. I never saw a live bug and combed out a few dried up eggs. WORKS great and smells good!
I can't say enough about this product and this review might be long so get cozy if you plan to read this review.
We have 4 children- 2 of whom are in the Autism class in their school- our daughter and a child we now have custody of. BOTH came home with head lice last week. I had never had lice in our home or in the past EVER. I had lice in my classroom when I was teaching full-time and treated my classroom but never had the experience of having to treat myself or our children for lice.
My husband ran out and purchased Nix as soon as we discovered the issue. I applied the Nix as directed and we sprayed the house, washed bedding, blankets, lanyards for school, coats, backpacks- THE_ENTIRE_HOUSE was done.
The following day, a Sunday, the kids still had active lice. I was shocked. My husband ran out (again) and purchased a different brand as well as Tea Tree Oil shampoo. Tea Tree Oil is dangerous for dogs so if you use it, please be mindful if you have pets. I digress...
Again, active lice and nits that would not budge.
I ordered this product from Amazon and was so upset as this was now costing us a great deal of money for products that were not working. I bought 2 regular sized bottles of this product since I could pay a bit extra in shipping and get the bottles the following day. They arrived and I kept all 3 of our school-age kids home from school. Everyone in our home was treated.
This item caused no damage to their hair. All of our children have long hair. The younger boys have hair to their shoulders. Our daughter has hair to almost the small of her back, and my eldest son has hair that is beyond his shoulders. I did NOT want to cut their hair yet, I believed this was going to be the only option as it's what I had heard and read. This caused a great deal of distress in our daughter who does not want to cut her hair. The other items I used damaged their hair and the hair become so dry, it was impossible to use a nit comb to remove any leftover lice and nits. :/ Not cool at all.
As soon as this product was delivered, we lined up the kids and applied it to their hair. We left it on for nearly an hour.
The LICE WERE FALLING OFF DEAD. I saw lice on their ears that were deceased. My husband examined their heads, too and to our shock, the nits were very easily coming out as well with the comb. I was so relieved I could almost cry because of all the worrying I had done for 2-days and the fear of needing to tell our kids, "Sorry, you need to get your hair cut short(er) because of the damage and the issues with the lice....".
Only the child who we now have custody for had a very, VERY bad case. The other 2 younger ones had mild cases. We learned that in the Autism class, there were beanbag chairs and super-sized pillows that the kids like to lounge in/on. I contacted the teacher who removed those items from class. From now on, our children are not to sit/use any items that are not a hard surface and they understand this and the importance of this new rule.
I sprayed the house daily, run their backpacks, lanyards, coats, and bedding through the dryer for 40-minutes each day to ensure we've gotten the live ones that may still be here. I'll continue to do this for the next 2-weeks.
I was stunned that the eggs were gone as well. The school nurse checked their heads the day after they were treated at home with this product because there is a no-nit policy in the district. She called to ask what we used as their hair was lice/nit-free in that there were no signs that they'd even had lice. I shared the information for this product with her.
I really need to thank this company for their product. The nit comb is provided with each package you order is the best I've used. Again, my experience with lice is limited because this is only the 1st experience with lice but all the other combs we used were not sufficient to remove lice or nits. This nit comb has teeth that are right beside one another allowing no room for the nit or louse to sneak past when I am combing the children out. The comb is also very strong as it is metal and there is no risk for bending or breaking at all. Believe me, 2 of our 4-children have very thick hair like me and I expected major issues while combing them out. I did need to use smaller amounts of hair to comb but you should do this anyway.
We are a little more than a week past the initial discovery of lice and they will be treated with this product once a week for the remainder of the school year in addition to the rest of their school careers as I don't want to deal with this ever, EVER again. We have seen no lice, no nits, nothing. The children did not need to get their hair cut short to better manage the problem and there is no damage to their hair. At all.
As well, our children love the way this makes their scalp feel and they like the smell. Very important for children that have Autism as they are so sensitive.
My thanks for this product and for providing a product which does exactly what they claim it does: It kills the lice dead and the nits are easy to remove. I wish I had found this product before because I would have saved at least $150.00 in lice treatment costs.
I think it is helping, but it's definitely not a one and done. We have been infested for months and have tried most of the non-toxic options (or what they say is - who really knows). We're using this every other day. The good thing is this is a cream instead of sticky like LiceMD, so my kids don't squawk (as much). The cream in the family-sized bottle also goes pretty far - 3 female heads, two with longer hair - and we're going on week 2 of every other day, so this is much more cost effective than many of the other options. I don't see that the comb is doing anything more than the LiceMD plastic comb even though it feels like it's shredding hair as you comb through. I do wish we had started with this. I think our continuing problems are coming from the car, which we are constantly in. Maybe a car spray next?
I ordered this product when a neighbor girl came to stay with me after getting kicked out out of her fathers house. I didnt know at the time that she had head lice and was infested bad. I searched many many treatments and their reviews. I was very stuck on this product. I wanted it especially after reading the reviews. So I ordered it right away, if the bigger package would have been Prime I would have ordered it but I couldn't wait, I got the family sized bottle with comb. I treated my hair and my sons but never found anything. After she put the treatment in (not even comb it yet) the lice started falling off her head. My bathroom floor was literally covered. I can honestly say I never even knew what they looked like until then. We left the treatment in for a long time. Actually to be honest she left it in for about 24 hours because she was worried. I left mine in for hours because they decided to purge our fire hydrant and it pumped rust and dirt in water so....i didnt have a choice. HOWEVER, it made my hair so incredibly soft and unlike other treatments it didnt ruin anyones hair. Amazingly it killed and removed all the lice on her head. I am still so blown away.
I HIGHLY recommend Wipe Out to anyone having any issue. Her and I have a TON of hair and I even let her sister do her hair and she has a lot, my son even had his head done and there is still over half a bottle left. If you are looking for something that really works THIS IS THE STUFF FOR YOU!!!! Dont waste your money on all those chemicals that destroy your hair and may not work. Oh my word and the smell <3 <3 it is heavenly, I read some that it had a strong chemical smell (or maybe that was somethibg else) but I disagree, it smells amazing and works even better. Everyone said it smelled great and I even had compliments from people on the smell of my hair who didnt even know.
I definitely, definitely recommend this product.
(I also bought the lemonheads spray and it is ALSO amazing and smells great)
We were so lucky as to receive a lovely letter from my daughter’s school letting us know that someone in her class had lice :( The good news was, the letter came home a week after school ended for summer vacation. A day after the letter came home I noticed my daughter was scratching her head, so I ran down to the drug store and grabbed a lice removal kit. We followed the directions and combed through her hair with the comb included, but didn’t find anything. Of course we threw everything in the washing machine and vacuumed every inch of the house. No luck- she was itching again in a day or two. When her itching continued, I decided to give your product a try... and I’m so glad I did!
We used the product as directed and combed through her hair with the great comb I also ordered (as well as re washing everything in hot water!). This time we found the culprits (because the comb was so much better)! But the best part- the product worked so well that we haven’t had to repeat the process!
I’m so glad we found your product! It smelled so much better then the drug store stuff and left her hair feeling great- but best of all, it stopped the problem! We’ve been using the comb a couple times a week to make sure we don’t have a repeat, and so far so good.
