Computer Reading Glasses 1.50 Black 2 Pack Protect Your Eyes Against Eye Strain, Fatigue and Dry Eyes from Digital Gear with Anti Blue Light, Anti UV, Anti Glare, and are Anti Reflective

They don't seem like they would help with computer eye strain, but they do! I haven't had a single headache, my vision when I leave the office isn't fuzzy anymore, so I am a happy camper. Wish they had different sizes though, they fit kind of big on my face. They are very hard to clean too, I read that in the reviews and thought I would just be very careful not to touch the lens... well that was easier said than done. The cloth provided helps, but the smudge still kind of lingers. But over all for $30 I am pretty happy with these glasses.

These glasses are an excellent solution for those of us who are a little older, and use reading glasses but work with a computer screen whose distance from the eyes is too far for reading glasses. At a magnification of 1.00 (that's what works for me) and with the coating that is claimed to filter out the blue light that monitors of all type emit (and cause headaches, eye strain, and so on), I use these every day now both at home and work. The styling is fine, and knowing that they are not Ralph Lauren's or some other fashion brand means that they are just "standard" looking, but since I wear them pretty much only when working on the computer (and sometimes, when reading a magazine) that doesn't matter. They seem fairly well built: I've dropped mine onto hardwood floors a few times, and no damage at all. They come packed in a box of two, each with a soft pouch, which is a nice touch, because I can keep a couple of pairs at work, and a couple at home. If you spend a lot of time in front of a computer, and you use reading glasses, you should try out a pair of these at a lower magnification level than your reading glasses, and see if they are as useful as they have been for me (for example, I use a 1.50 reading glass magnification, but because the computer screen is farther away, I use a 1.0 magnification for these). It would be nice if they had some color choices! Five Stars.

First off let me say that my original order was for 1.75 power and somehow during the ordering process, the power flipped to 0.00. When I received the glasses I put them on and as you can probably guess, I couldn't see. I immediately checked my order knowing I needed 1.75 as instructed by my eye doctor after a recent exam. I was surprised that I did not review and verify the correct power. I was devastated and of course knew I lost money I would not get back on glasses I cannot wear.

I decided to email the TruVision support and explain my dilemma before tossing the glasses in the trash. I mean dang, the glasses looked so good on me. Once I got close enough to the bathroom mirror, I thought, these make me look good. If nothing else, I finally knew the frame design that has the right look on my face. Sorry, I digress. I received a quick reply from Erin that surprised me. She was under no obligation to honor an exchange, but she did. The order was clearly made for 0.00 power, not 1.75. I clicked the 1.75 option, but did not verify that it remained the selection at checkout. It was not the fault of TruVision. Within no time, we exchanged the pair of 0.00 Black Computer Reading Glasses for the pair of 1.75 and have used both every day. Yes, I do keep one in my office and one pair in another room.

I work all day and most nights on computers and my eyes would get blurry and tired, not to mention the stinging sensation. Like everyone else, or most everyone else, I also pick up my iPad and iPhone when I'm not on my computers. These glasses are great! It have noticed since wearing them on a regular basis that the stinging, tired eyes that I have experienced in the past, have all but diminished.

I had order glasses from other vendors which I returned almost immediately because of the lack quality even though the reviews were high. My eyes need to look around my desk and double monitors without having to adjust the way my head is positioned to accommodate the readers I am wearing. I suppose if I was just reading a book, those glasses would be fine. These TruVision Readers are the best of both worlds, reading books and working on computers with dual monitors and a desk full of work!

I am so grateful to Erin and TruVision Readers for her understanding and immediate response to help me exchange my order for the right readers.

I highly recommend their readers and their company in their stellar customer service!

I bought these after losing my $600 anti glare prescription glasses and not wanting to pay that much to replace them. They work well- my husband absolutely loves them. He no longer experiences the "blurry eye" after effects of working on the computer for hours. They worked great for me too...except after extended wear, I would get a headache and have to take them off. This is rather common for me unfortunately, so I don't believe it's a fault of the glasses.

I love that they are so light- they really don't feel like anything when you are wearing them. The anti-glare works well; I don't get the burning eye from glare when I wear these. I will also add that, while these aren't indestructible, they are close. My toddler got a hold of them more than once and they held up well to twisting, throwing, dragging, and bending. Very impressed by that.

I love love love my computer reading glasses I was suffering from eye strain using regular reading glasses when working on my desktop computer and on my iPhone . I had never heard of digital eye strain but that was exactly what I was experiencing but the Truvision reading glasses have solved that problem for me.

Description

When you work at a computer for any length of time, you will eventually experience some of the symptoms know as computer vision syndrome (CVS).

The Vision Council found that 70 percent of US adults in a survey reported having some kind of digital eye strain

Blurred Vision
Dry Eyes
Headaches
Red Eyes
General Fatigue

With our new advanced technology these Computer Glasses have an almost invisible, slightly yellow, tint which protects your eyes from the harmful effects of UV rays, blue light, glare, and reflections from computer monitors and electronic devices such as tablets, smart phones and any device that emits blue light

First they are quite comfortable on the ears, yes ears as some frames can tend to rub the back of the ear becoming irritating after a few hours. These don't. The frame material is quite smooth with no rough edges.

The glasses themselves are great they do indeed have a slight amber tint but it's not noticeable, unlike some other computer glasses that have a heavy amber tint. If you are looking for glasses that look like normal ones but still block harmful blue light then these are for you. You can see at the right angle that they have a coating of some sort that seems to reflect blue light from computer screens so I have no doubt they work as advertised. They also clearly shade the computer screen a slight amber color when worn so they definitely have the amber tint (something I was a bit worried about since they didn't look like they had any tint at all in the pictures).

Returning to the frames they have a good spring action making unfolding them easy. But it's not a strong spring so it doesn't pop open at inopportune times. It's convenient without being too strong.

They come with a great carrying bag that also doubles very well as a cleaning cloth. It cleans the lenses without difficulty or scratching.

The frames seem solid so I don't think I'll need to buy any more for a while (much to the chagrin of the seller I suppose) so it's definitely worth the price. They are also quite fashionable I think as I've received compliments. Also was shipped quite quickly much quicker than the estimate. Worth the 5 stars.

My husband and I like our computer reading glasses very much. They are fashionable, comfortable to wear, and help reduce eye strain. The micro-fiber cleaning cloth bag really comes in handy, too, and makes it very easy to clean the glasses. We use them for computer work and for watching TV. In the past we had tried another brand of glasses that blocked out almost 100% of the blue light, but they turned everything orange. These TruVision Readers do not change the color of the screen. I also have found that since using these glasses, I am sleeping much better. I highly recommend these glasses.

new update:
This the the third pair I've bought, a testimony to both the quality of the glasses and my ability to misplace them. These arrived at "bikin' at the beach" mansion so quickly I believe the seller must have driven them over in person! Super fast delivery. I'm two thumbs up and if I had that third arm I'm always talking about, I'd give it three thumbs up!

So far, I'm enjoying the glasses. In fact, I'm wearing them right now. I like them better than Brand X (I bought similar from another Amazon seller to see which I liked better and these seem much better built). The lens are clear, the magnification seems right and the price is certainly right.

I have a sever astigmatism which cannot be corrected by prescription eyeglasses, so I wear scleral contact lenses. They help a lot, but I still have trouble reading small print sometimes. The TruVision readers are great. I no longer have to strain when reading the computer screen or small print on a page.

I spend a lot of time looking at a computer screen (or my phone) so I appreciate the Anti Blue Light aspect of these glasses. This feature has *no* negative impact on the quality of the image on the computer screen (i.e. it doesn't make the colors look different). Even though these are computer reading glasses, they're still perfect for reading a book, paper, etc.

I really like how they look. They are simple and fashionable. The build quality is also very good.

If you're searching for the right reading glasses on Amazon, these are the ones to buy.

I have a pair of white, black, and grey. The grey is a kinda milky grey color, but cool. They do a great job of cutting fatigue from screens. My experience has been with the 1.0x and 1.25x readers. Everyone's eyes are different, but mine adjusted to my Macbook Pro at just over 24" from my face and a 32" monitor at the same distance. Phone or Kindle reading was very easy on the eyes. They reduce glare and as a 44-year-old who has had lasik, works at a computer all day, spends too much time on a phone, reads, and has glaucoma, I am very grateful for the form, fit, and function of these as both readers and screen time glasses. My eyes adjust to distance much better when I look up after a long stint at the machine, and I am not likely to get headaches from eye strain. My most pleasant discovery with these is that the founders of the company work very close to their Amazon presence and are VERY responsive. If you are deciding whether to choose these or some cheaper alternatives from overseas, I would STRONGLY recommend these; both for the quality and style (they are really cut well and have a timelessly great aesthetic), but also for the family feel of the company behind them. It makes me happy to own something that is brought to market by people that value more than just a transactional connection.
