6-Pill-Organizer

6-Pill-Organizer

I just got my order, washed it and filled it. The size of the opening is great for large pills. Large of enough for multivitamins or those "horse" sizes pills. I put a couple desiccant packs/capsules (those moisture absorbers in the bottle with your pills) in a division that I'm not really using. All of mine are capsules or gel-like in nature. There are 6 equal compartments. I have a label maker so I printed some up and I know they will peel off easily when I change things around. I had a hard time getting the lid to turn easily so I used a little coconut oil around the rim and it turns much easier. I ordered two for our household and both arrived with cracks in them but they are not gifts and it should not effect long term use. So far I'm happy with the product.

This pill organizer is fabulous and oh-so useful. As usual, I didn't pay careful attention to the size, so it was definitely larger than I anticipated, but this is not a bad thing. It can hold any size pill and this is especially useful for the larger vitamins and supplements that don't always fit in the other containers.

The top turns and you are able to pour out the pill of your choosing. I personally haven't filled up each portion, but I do have the majority filled and it has worked wonderfully at home and on trips. I've had a couple of pills spill over into the next side, but it was only when I didn't close the top as tightly as I should have after I filled it up.

I am very pleased and would recommend this organizer for prescriptions, supplements, and vitamins for all sizes.

very functional, convenient and saves time. I like it a lot better than the long rectangle old fashion 'weekly' pill organizers that usually spill because a different compartment opens when I turn over to empty my pills for the day. this one you just keep turning and dispensing until your done and then shut the flap which actually clicks down very securely. the stickers provided make it easy for me to remember what's in what. I use both small pills and pretty large ones and all are dispensed nicely (the smaller ones are a little more difficult because a few usually come out at a time)

a couple negatives would be it is a little difficult to take the lid off the canister when it's time to refill. it pulls off rather than screws off because of the way it works (you turn it to dispense the pills, not loosen the lid) so you got to pull it off and that can be kind of a challenge. also, the opening to each pill compartment on top is kind of small and triangular, a shape that makes refilling a little tricky in order not to spill.

overall I am happy with the purchase. it reduces clutter on my dresser where I keep my pills. instead of opening and closing 6 med bottles every day (or more), I simply open the flap, take what I need by turning to lid, close it and put it away. I also think it looks better having everything in one rather than 6 prescription bottles laying around. good product and cheap.

This is like a pill bottle on steroids (4" H x 3.5" W)! It has partitions which provide storage for 6 different pills. The lid has a covered opening, so you can access each compartment. You just rotate the lid to the desired position, open the cover, and dispense the desired pill. All your pills in one convenient container. They even provide labels, so you will know what is in each compartment. The entire lid is easily removed to fill each compartment too. This is a must have if you take numerous pills a day.

Exactly as pictured. For me it does fine.

***NOT*** for elderly or people with arthritis for two reasons:

Lid is extremely difficult to remove--workaround is refill without removing the lid which is actually how I do it.

Lid is a *_little_* difficult to turn. Not too bad, but I could imagine someone with arthritis not enjoying the feeling of turning it.

I use it for large fish oil pills and they come out with a shake or two, but only holds about 18 of them in one of the 6 compartments. I block the opening with the palm of my hand to prevent too many smaller pills from coming out.

Gel capsules tend to lightly stick to the sides requiring me to shake it against my hand to loosen them. Again that might cause discomfort for people with arthritis.

I'm between a 3 and 4 on this because the lid is really difficult to start. It's like there was no product inspection at all. My husband got it off and not because I'm old or weak. I took a paper towel and coconut oil and rubbed and rubbed on the lid and container tightening it and loosening it over and over until it worked well. Make sure you wash the inside well too, it's slimey even prior to the coconut oil application. It suits my needs, even my largest vitamin slips out of the top! The part that individual pills come out of did take some bending back and forth to make it stay shut. It did come with labels but I peeled mine from the original supplement bottle, cut them to size and slipped them into my new container. I haven't found a better option for my needs! Just realize you will have a little work to do before loading it up because someone at their factory skipped a step or two. Oh yes and be very careful popping off the main lid if it's full since it sticks..

If you take several meds in the morning (or evening) this is a good way to keep them in one place. It will protect them from accidental splashing. If you drop it onto a hard surface, you will have a mess on your hands. If you drop it into the toilet, oy. I wish the flap that covers the opening had a better hinge set up. Would I buy it again. Absolutely.

First I want to say that I love this dispenser and it is perfect for what I needed. BUT with that said, want to warn that it cracks. The first crack I thought someone in my family dropped it. Now there were more. Figured out it must be condensation?? I leave it sitting on my kitchen counter. So far it hasn't hindered the function but I do worry it will just shatter completely. I attached a couple of photos that aren't great quality but hopefully give an idea of what I'm talking about. For the price, I am glad I bought it and will buy another soon. Just an FYI.

I like this organizer as it holds my pile of mineral supplements and the opening is large enough for them to come out. I have five of them to simplify my day. One for am, one for breakfast etc., I load them all up at the beginning of the week.

Others commented about the hard to turn lid, the coconut oil did the trick and they turn easier with time. The lid is the design flaw as the plastic is a bit too stiff. The edge of a table will aid in removing it until it loosens up. Also the tab that holds the little cover closed is a bit fragile so I only close it when the cover is off the bottle. It will also break off if you are not careful.

Mindful of all that, I would still but this container as the size is perfect for me.

This container is so, unbelievably convenient! What a HUGE help this has been! Unfortunately, I'm currently on a lot of medications some of which are similar size, color and shape. This container helps me to be sure my medication is the right one. Occasionally it has pills fall into the other slots when you are filling it or if you drop one while the lid is open. It's a pain in the neck to get the top open and to get to the pills to take them out of the wrong slot. Regardless, I love this product and I would most definitely purchase it again.
