I ordered this item from Reading Glass Co of America through Amazon Online. The ordering process with the seller was completed without a single negative incident. The glasses were of excellent quality and I had no problems using them for magnification of objects viewed. I would recommend them to others without hesitation. If I ever need to replace them due to normal wear and tear, I will most certainly check with this seller first. I am a most satisfied customer.
My father's eyesight is diminished due to macular degeneration. Most local retail stores only stock readers that range from 1.0 to 2.75 magnification, which don't help him at all. These readers high magnification are just perfect for him. They're also great for me when threading a tiny needle.
Bought these to use when I'm doing hand sewing or cross-stitching and they do the job. I use 3.0 readers for all my other things and they work fine, but they weren't quite strong enough for hand sewing or cross stitching. These 4.5 readers have made a big difference in the ease, comfort and quality of my crafts. I do much of my hand sewing/cross stitching while I watch tv and because these glasses are slimmer, they function as bifocals and allow me to see my close-up work, then look up and over them and still be able to see the tv across the room without having to remove or adjust the glasses. One note: I use these over my regular prescription glasses and they fit and work well. Hubby used to laugh when he'd see me with my double glasses, but hey, if it works, I'm happy. And when I'm happy, hubby is happy too.
Product looks just like the photos. Note that these are only for very close work. They are magnifying lenses, not readers. For me, the focal range starts about a hand-width from the tip of my nose and extends about another three inches. I have found them very helpful for reading tiny medicine labels, repairs involving small parts (especially involving small screws), etc.
The 5.00 prescription of these reading glasses is way more than what I need for reading (1.50-1.75); but they are just the thing I need for close work when I'm sculpting or painting fine detail in one of my art works. I do have to remember to take them off immediately when I get up or else I get a major case of vertigo, though. They're comfortable and don't seem too heavy for the limited times that I use them.

Great magnifying glasses. I purchased these for my mother who has macular degeneration. She is able to now read certain things in bright light and if the typeset is large enough.
LOVE LOVE LOVE these readers. This is the ONLY brand I buy for high magnification readers. The lenses are more clear than most other readers. I buy these in bulk for family and coworkers as we need varying levels of magnification for various work projects. The lenses are sturdy and come in higher magnification levels than most other brands. They are not the trendiest most fashionable readers around, but I wouldn't trade them. They have a great price as well, which is also a bonus.
These are good macro glasses. I use them to work on models for my model railroad layout and they provide good magnification for me to see the details I'm working on. The lenses are plastic, not glass, if that matters to you. I prefer glass lenses, but these work quite well.
I have very little vision. I bought the 4.50, the 5.00 and the 6.00 Strength High Magnification Readers. Before purchasing, i confirmed the dimensions and as expected they are the same size as my drug store 3.25 glasses, but i can see sooo much better. the 4.50 are perfect for the computer, and yes, i need to be close to see. The 5.00 were great in the garden for uppotting my baby seedlings. Best of all, the 6.00 enable me to read a text book i just bought with the usual .6 text fonts. I am very very happy with this purchase.
