I should of read more about this item before I purchased it. It works fine but it is a lot smaller then I thought it was. I thought it was larger and it would go around the neck and cover both shoulders. It only covers one shoulder well. So I alternate it from one shoulder to another one.
I was told by my physical therapist to ice the small of my back. Wrapped in a hand towel this gel pad works great. You can fold it different ways or flap one end over a joint. In my case I was trying to calm bursitis in my hips. While lying down you can situate the gel pad with the aid of a pillow to wrap around your hip. Great price for all that flexibility.
Very cold and can use in more places than just the neck/shoulders. I recently feel on ice and hurt my legs, regular ice packs just were not doing the job so I grabbed this one and it wrapped around my leg! Have to put something under it for a while though cuz it's very cold.
Its kind of large to fit in the microwave and then allows for an uneven heat. Putting it in boiling water is better but takes longer and does not get as hot as the microwave. The shape is excellent and the way it bends and folds allows you to use anywhere.
a great product. I just wish it had a fastener in front to keep
it on your shoulders.

The shape is almost perfect for the neck and shoulders, but the pack becomes a bit stiff and doesn't conform to the body when frozen.
Heated, it works fairly well, but get very hot and then doesn't hold the heat long.
Very comforting. I am dealing with a pinched nerve in neck and appreciate that you can boil pot of water and immerse it(not too long) Use an old pot not used for cooking-blue dye does run and I do not feel comfortable using cooking pot in case leakage with this or gel packs which I also use (Kaz gel heating wrap also very nice)I especially appreciate flap for neck area. I sometimes wrap it in a thin towel if too hot,to prevent burns. I tried Shiatsu but nodules so hard-do not understand why they cannot be soft,as massagers hands. Stays in place without having to hold but should have tie option.
I purchased this for my daughter to use cold on her shoulder. It is formable and molds nicely to lay and cover well. She only uses it on one shoulder at a time. Stays cold long enough to do the job. Material is slightly velvety so it is not a cold plastic feel.
This is a nifty ice wrap! It is big enough to go over a shoulder or around a stiff neck but it's thin enough to cool down quickly, which also makes it fit nicely around a shoulder, etc. Very sturdy and nicely made
Stays cold for a decent amount of time. Only complaint is that the edges are kind of sharp and uncomfortable. Would be better of they put some kind of boarder on it.
