Drive Medical Folding Bedside Commode Seat with Commode Bucket and Splash Guard, Powder Blue

You will never know who much it meant to receive the bedside commode. I literally did a Happy Dance. I had just got Mom home from the hospital after her stroke. I refused to let her go to a rehap center. We had already tried that and it was awful. I ordered all the things I needed while we were still at the hospital and the first thing that arrived was her bedside commode. Getting her into the bathroom would have been a little difficult but having this tool has been wonderful and easy getting her on and off. I should say easy for her. Also love the color, soft blue. It's sturdy as well.

Hubby had total knee replacement 2 weeks ago. We were told by the hospital that he needed one of these for home use, less the inserts. It arrived in a timely manner, 2 days from the order. Not too hard to put together, great that it adjusts to heights as needed. Great quality. Cost literally 1/3 the price the hospital was going to charge. Hubby's having his other knee done in 10 days. This will most definitely come in handy, again! We'll donate this to our CJFS once we're done with it.

I am a Home Hemo Dialysis patient, so I'm on a very short leash while doing my treatments. These last 4 hours or more 5days a week. While being light weight and easy to move, it is extremely sturdy and I'm a big guy. This is exactly what I was looking for. It folds up to hide from sight when not in use (or possible use), the legs are height adjustable for pretty much anyone. This is a very affordable and useful product.

Great insurance purchase for my mother. Not actually used yet, which is good. This is a well constructed and everything is in excellent condition, and very sturdy. I weigh 250 pounds and feel safe and stable sitting on it. I am confident that as my mother comes to rely on it that she will feel safe and enjoy the security of having it bedside.

This is far and away the best commode seat, light years better than those plastic contraptions you set atop the toilet bowl.

Highly recommended especially for people recuperating from hip, back or leg injuries.

Stable, strong, easily cleanable, easy to put together............I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about it.

And the price is right, too. All around an excellent purchase.

Easy to put together, for an 82 year woman. The only problem was the seat and lid. Couldn't get it on. After a frustrating time I
Decided to give it a punch, out of shear luck it went on. Did the same for lid.
We use it over the commode in the bathroom, without the bucket. It works very well. My husband can now get up very easily!
It's also pretty sturdy.

I have had this now for 8 months and it is as good as new! Cleans easily, lifts easily in-and-out of the shower, and is comfortable. One issue that I have to adjust occasionally (with the slight tap of a hammer!!!) is that the seat moves across the back bar ever-so-slowly until you begin to see how far off it is from the toilet bowl itself! For someone without a hammer, guess not a good buy!

So easy to assemble. I'm recovering from broken left side: shoulder, ribs, and pelvis. Balancing on my right leg and with only my right hand available I had it ready in less than 5 minutes. And it's sturdy. The delivery was quick. This is a product I never thought about prior to my accident. Obviously a lot of thought went into the design, construction, and clientele.

This was purchased for my recuperation from knee replacement surgery and has been just what I needed to sit over our regular height toilet (using splash guard but not the "pot". It was easy to assemble and adjust for the heighth needed. (Have also put it into the shower to serve as a shower seat, which gave it a cleansing "shower" and then put it in the bath tub to drip and toweled it dry.) I realize it is not designed for this purpose and will probably develop rust within the tube structure, but we elected to do that because it met my need for safety in the shower without buying a separate shower seat. It is so reasonably priced that if we need one in the future we will just purchase another if the structure seems compromised by rust .

Used it on a trip to see my mom last month. She stated that it was a bit wobbly when trying to get up form the seat. The taller the chair height is set the more it tends to wobble which is understandable. The legs are very easy to adjust for height. We didn't use the bucket part as we put the unit directly over the commode.
My only issue is that it doesn't completely fold up into itself as expected. The legs will stick out a bit but it still is easy to carry.
Overall, this works for what it is intended to do.
