I use this backpack everyday and I have to put it on and off many times a day (for sitting, driving, changing tanks, etc.). They last me about 6 mos. before the tank wears a hole in the bottom, the straps become ragged and I have to order another one. I am pretty hard on them - so this time I put a small rectangular tupperware dish in the bottom - we'll see if the bag lasts longer! UPDATE: I did have to replace the main zipper after hardly four weeks of use - bought a heavier 18" name brand zipper and it was a cinch to put in. Just cut off the plastic teeth part of the old one, no need to rip the whole thing out. I also made a padded liner "cup" for the bottom of the bag so the tanks don't wear right through. I always cut off the strap that goes across my chest first thing! This bag, along with micro tubing, is comfortable and not bad looking at all. I love that this bag is not big and bulky!
I burchased the EVA back pack first and it lasted not even 6 monthe. I remembered that I had had a Cramer Decker backpack and it had lasted for years. I am very happy with my new backpack. They could improve it by making the side hole further down. I use a conserving device and the tubing get bent sometimes and slows my rate of O2. Otherwise, it's a great bag. Strong Zippers.
I purchased this item and I am able to carry an extra tank for my Mom. She uses the small tanks, which last about 2.5 hours. If we are planning an excursion longer, it is very handy, so we don't have to run back to the car to switch tanks. I initially purchase the pack so that she could wear it, but found that for a small little elderly lady it is a bit to heavy, with the oxygen, for her to cart around.
This is a company with excellent customer service! I had a problem with the backpack that I bought in January. I contacted the company and they immediately sent me a replacement, no questions and no hassle of returning the broken one. I really do appreciate that. As for the backpack, it is sturdy overall. Be careful of pulling the zipper closed at odd angles, the chunkly teeth can get pulled out of alignment and cannot be repaired. I would definitely buy this again.
We have had this backpack for about a year +. We had the standard shoulder O2 holder we got from the DME prior to it. That one ripped after about a year. I like that there is a zipper in the front to put a couple of small items.
Our zipper has functioned just fine. The backpack is comfortable even when you have to wear it for long period.
Our only issue is there is no "window" to see how much O2 is left.

Description
This unique dual strapped backpack enables a patient to be quite active while still being mobile with their oxygen supply system. This bag is double padded in the rear to minimize the pressure from the cylinder against the back. Using a standard regulator or a conserving device, the entire oxygen system is concealed within the confines of the bag. The only piece of equipment which is visible is the cannula tubing which exits the bag through a small grommet, travels under the patient's arm, and rests over their patient's ears. The bag is constructed of washable, heavy-duty denier, has padded shoulder straps with sternum strap, has large easy-grab zipper pulls, an embroidered carrying handle for easy pick up, an outside stuff cord, and a large zippered pocket. This bag can accommodate both M6 and M9 medical cylinders.
Good Quality and so much help!!!
Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it and uses it often.
This is the same bag that originally came with my husband's portable oxygen tank from the VA. The straps broke and couldn't be repaired. I can't rate it five stars because the straps are still plastic and not durable. This bag is much easier to carry than the replacement bag the VA provided. Wish the manufacturer would make cloth straps that are more durable. then the bag would be a perfect stars!M6/ M9 Oxygen Cylinder Dual Strap Backpack
I absolutely love it! The oxygen company gave me a crappy one, This holds bottle better, has a click strap across chest, completely zippers up, so you can see any of it
Delivered to expectation
This is the 2nd bag I've ordered. Although I do not use it as a backpack, It's very convenient. It does allow me to
not have to carry a purse now. the small pocket holds a small wallet as well as my 6inch phone. Worth the cost for sure!
