I love this walker! It folds easily, is very lightweight and more compact compared to my previous walker (which was a Drive Medical heavy duty bariatric 4-wheeled walker with a padded seat and rubber wheels). I wanted something of the same high quality as my other walker that could support heavy weight while being lighter weight to handle, more compact and easily foldable. Seat support is great - sturdy (not 'padded' but still comfortable to sit) and like others who have reviewed this product, I like the backrest it has when sitting. So far I have used this walker in airports and found it easy to fold when needed (restaurants, seating areas, checking it at the airline gate). I have went many places with it where I needed to fold it up temporarily (restaurants, shows, events, etc.) and it folds and stands up while folded great - takes up less space than other standard 4-wheeled walkers for bigger people so I can have it standing folded next to the table in restaurants without it being in anyone's way. It folds flatter like a 3-wheeled walker but offers more stability support than a 3-wheeled walker. It has a weight support capacity of up to 300 lbs. - sturdy yet lightweight. My boyfriend put it together when it came (while I was not home so I didn't see the whole process) and said it took some time (had to make sure cables were in the right place before putting things fully together and the wheels were on backwards when arrived) but he got it together after about an hour with some 'trial and error' (he said to read and follow the directions carefully and pay attention to how the wheels and cables are suppose to go, you will be fine) it is maintenance-free! So happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.
This walker has been a God-send. I would not hesitate recommending this to anyone at all. It is very sturdy & since I was the one assisting my husband in walking it has saved the stress & strain on my back. It is very high quality & even though I thought the price was a bit high, after I received it & he used it I would consider it one of the best purchases I have ever made. The only problem I had was putting it together. The instructions with it were not for this model so it was kind of a trial & error putting it together. I did contact the company by phone as I wasn't sure if there was a brake on it. They were very professional & courteous & answered every question I had. I think this is an extremely well made walker & dealing with the company was pure pleasure.

I recently bought one of these for my mother and here is her review: I absolutely love this walker and can't praise it enough. It is lightweight and easy to transport, also was easy to transport across the airport terminal by my grandsons due to it's sideways folding. I was able to easily walk across my niece's yard to their firepit and walk up and down an incline to a dock. I would never have attempted these with my heavy, older model walker. I can't even begin to tell you how many ways it made my trip so much easier. It's fantastic and I highly recommend it.
The walker arrived today. & taking it out of the box was a snap. There was minimal assembly to do in getting the device ready for use. Unfortunately, there was even less for decent instructions. Still, I was able to follow the pictures in the book and got it assembled in about 15 minutes. The confusing part was that they had one of the sets of wheels inserted into the wrong tubes, for shipping I guess, and not being sure whether to run the brake cables on the inside or outside of the frame. I ran them on the inside of the upper part and the outside of the lower part of the frame. The velcro straps that hold the storage bag double as minders for the brake cables for now. If I need to change it once I've used it for a while and figure out what's what, it'll be a simple enough task. I only wish the backrest was adjustable. It feels like it's too far forward as I sit in it. I'm 6'3" and have the handles adjusted all the up so that brings the backrest farther toward you as it goes up on the angle with the handlebars. It also ends up making it a bit too high for my liking as well. But it's not as though I need to sit in it a lot. I can live with it as is but please Carex, consider making the backrest adjustable on future models since I'll probably buy from you again. I must say, it really is nice and sturdy. The shape of the tubes must have a lot to do with that. My old one has round tubes and is really getting rickety after several years of use. In fact, I don't think it ever was as sturdy as this Carex model. The brakes work as they should right out of the box as well. Both in temporary braking and in locking the brakes to sit in it. If this one lasts as long as my old one did, I'll come back here and give it that fifth star while I'm writing my review on the next one I buy!! {8^)
It's lightweight and fits easily in my trunk (Hyundai Elantra). It was a bit difficult to put together until I figured out when it shipped the front wheels were crossed. The directions clearly state to not have the brake cables cross so once I figured out what was wrong I switched the wheels and the rest was easier. It seems like a quality walker. I can see where others say the storage bag might fall off when folding up the walker. I have velcro strips which I will add to make it stay on. The only thing I'm nervous about is the seat is made of a cloth material. I hope it hold me I' weigh 225 pounds. Otherwise I'm excited to have complete mobility when I go out now. My other walker was way too heavy. I can't wait to use it!
UPDATE: I FIGURED OUT HOW TO MAKE THE BAG STAY ON!
I bought some black velcro about 3/4 " wide and kept wrapping it around the end of the extended post until the velcroed end was thicker than the post. It doesn't slip off because the velcro is acting like a stop to prevent it slipping off.

So I had 2 DRIVE walkers in the house and they performed fine. But Dad managed to pull the brake wire loose. Husband fixed it once but the 2nd time it was not fixable. Sadly put it out for recycle and then a friend recommended this Carex Rollator. She said her father walks more upright using it. Also, added bonus is that since it has a very deep front to back wheel base, it doesn't tip over and we had that problem with the Drive walker. It is not wider than other walkers though and makes it through standard doorway easier. Has a comfortable, breathable built in seat. I really like this model for taller and heavier people. I would definitely buy again.
Received this product yesterday. I put it together in about 20 minutes, easy easy. I tell people, I am disabled not dead and this rotator helps me live an active life. Today I used it to walk down a pier to our boat. This rolls smoothly and the turning radius is great. It folds with one hand and takes up very little space. It is sturdy but seems lighter to push then other pollinators I have used. The only cons are: the storage bag is flimsy and the wheels are plastic .
The rollator is sturdy. I am finding that the handle bars are too far apart for me. I have back problems, and I needed to bend over and lean on my old rollator, but I can't do this comfortably with this rollator. I find the seat uncomfortable. In order to make it more comfortable, the seat would have to be deeper, and the back support would need to be set back more. If I didn't have so many problems to begin with, this would be a good rollator, especially for a large person. PS The next day I tried rollator again and found that the handle bar problem was fixed...I think I did not lock the chair open at first. The seat would be very comfortable if the back rest went further back. Otherwise a nice product.
Great for taller people. Fits my father who is 6/4. Push brake handle all the way down to lock brakes. Tip, use outside shipping box to spread out the pieces so you can make heads and tails of the pieces. Second tip, one set of wheels comes attached where the handles go. They must be removed from there and attached to the bottom legs. Also de
tangle the brake cables, right wheel, right brake handle, left brake, left wheel etc.
Bought this for our mom because walking was a shuffle, except when behind a grocery cart. We are amazed how she walks all around her house, very fast now. The difference is remarkable! It was very easy to install, once I figured out that the wheels attached were supposed to be on the back, not front, it was fast. The bag gets in the way when folding it closed but she simply doesn't use it. It is incredibly light, by weight, and moves extremely easy. Very pleased and relieved it is so helpful for her.
