It is long enuf for me to wrap it around my waist for my frequent lower back pain. Also great to leave it resting on my shoulder to let my shoulder muscle relax after my bowling session. Only con that I find is that i find it a little stiff when i first use it and it takes me a min or 2 more than the regular size hot water bottle to squeeze the air out totally before closing it off.
