3M reusable coldhot pack 4 x 10 , 2 pack

These ice packs are my favorite as I use them daily for chronic headaches and migranes. Depending on your freezer setting they will get hard or be pliable at higher settings. If too hard set out a minute and wear. Fits greats around sides and back of neck and over top of head. Durable too, use throughout day, everyday. Last ones lasted 2 years at that wear rate. Excellent! Will continue to buy as long as 3M makes them.

These are great to have in the freezer at all times! My husband works as a groundskeeper during the week and is a cake decorator on the weekends (I know, polar opposite careers!) and he LOVES these packs. He uses them at least 4 times a week to help with the pains in his back, ankles etc. They don't get hard and form really nicely to whatever body part you need to apply them to and I love that they have a fabric type sleeve also so the pack isn't directly touching skin. I highly recommend these packs. They are staples in our home and should be in your home also!

To begin I do not and will not use these as hot packs if you want to do that use a wet towel and the microwave it's not worth the risk of an exploding hot pack........ I'm not sure how long these cold packs will last I've only been using them for a month every other day or so. I gave them four stars because they only stay cold for about 25 minutes but they do get the job done. Their a good size for wrapping around your neck or knee. The cloth covers are a bit thin but that allows the cold to pass through without giving you freezer burn, anyone that uses cold packs knows what I mean. As far as durability only time will tell, I tend to use things like this gently and over the years that seems to have paid off because things last, at least for me they do. if your the kind of person that is rough with things these may not work for you. I can say with confidence that for the price these cold packs are worth the price and worth a try.

I have used these for years, if anything hurts, ice is nice, and it sure beats a bag of frozen peas, or bulky ice cubes. I just keep a few in the freezer at all times(I have no need for the ability to use as a hot pack.)

Using these right away on muscle strains, a stiff neck, sore back/shoulders, and even a strained knee, can reduce the time frame for pain and incapacity from a few weeks to a few days.

There are others on offer, billed only as cold packs. They're OK, but these are better - filled with more gel - more substantial, and longer lasting. Definitely worth the upgrade to spring for these puppies instead, even if you only need them for cold. The gel pack is flexible, and stays appropriately cold for about 20 minutes.

These reusable cold packs are one of the best things I've ever bought from Amazon. As an injury-prone person, I find myself needing an ice pack quite frequently. These freeze up quickly, but are also very malleable. I love the little sleeve that comes with the ice packs too. I often wrap an ace bandage around these packs and apply them where necessary. I've probably used these hundreds of times since I purchased them. I could not be happier. Plus, there were a great deal for 2. These would be so helpful if you had kids too as they are super cold or hard like most ice packs. A+

I am a registered nurse and these are some of the best ice packs around. They stay cold for long periods of time and are more easily malleable than other ice packs that stay as cold but freeze nearly solid and require strong hands to break them up before you can mold them around a body part. They also have not shown any signs of leakage or traces of blue gel anywhere though they are in nearly constant use. I would definitely buy these again.

Thought the ice packs were great. Would have been better if they came with a wrap that would allow you to hold it in place. (Hence the low grade.) Never-the-less effective and comfortable and their arrival was timely!.

After I had an auto accident. (whiplash)Bought ice packs for my neck, but they were thicker. These packs are thinner, freeze or heat more quickly and are very pliant. All I had to do was to wrap a pack in a thin towel and place another thin towel on the pillow. Keeps the pillow dry and if it leaks keeps the spillage off of the pillow. I have bought several of these for my friend who was in an auto accident two weeks ago. I highly recommend this to anyone who is in pain. Wether needs cold or hot for relief.

Shin splints struck again this year and I realized I missed the ice packs we had when I was growing up. Turns out these are them! Great size for shins, shoulder, etc.

The cloth things they come with are super fragile and I always end up using another towel anyway, and I wish these were easier to wrap around ankles and such-- but I knew what I was getting and they're great!

I am very happy with this purchase. Funny, as I may have just missed this detail in the product description but my happy discovery upon opening the box is thst it came eith two cloth sleeves. I usually wrap a hot or cold pack in a kitchen towel, which puts too much space betwen the heat or cold and the skin. Just not as effective that way. So, very cool and happy I ordered!
