Been looking forward to ordering this and I finally got it! I have endometriosis, patellar tendonitis and arthritis so I often find comfort in heating pads but I wanted something more portable as I don't have a plug on my side of the bed. This has been great, smells fantastic, I only wish the heat lasted longer but that's a minor inconvenience. I love this and am glad I got it.
I've been using this for a few months now. I get menstrual cramps as well as cramps and bloating from IBS. I remembered my grandmother used to have a heating pad that she'd microwave and it'd smell like corn, and it was just so comforting. I wanted to find something similar, and I did! It does not smell like corn (obviously), but it does have a nice herbal scent like thyme. I love the weight of it on my stomach as opposed to a thin electric heating pad. I think the weight also helps relieve some pain. It stays warm for about 20 minutes - wish it lasted longer, but as it's natural I'm fine with just reheating it :)
My boyfriend also uses it after a workout, and he loves it - especially the smell. He wishes there was a bigger version, which we may find eventually cuz he definitely needs to get his own haha.
I like that it does not need electricity or batteries. I bought 2 of these, and use them constantly. To keep the pad clean I toss it inside an old pillow case. My feet are always cold in bed, so I heat it up and toss it under the covers. Used like this, it stays warm most of the night. I found several other uses for the pad. My cat is cold-blooded, so I heat it up for her, and set the pad and her in her favorite chair. I thought she might not like the herbal smell, but it does not bother her. She curls up on it and is very content. Again, I like that I don't have to worry about an electrical fire. Just be sure that if you use it around pets that they will not chew up the pad. I found another use when I was baking bread on a cold day. My bread just wasn't rising well, so I heated up the pad and set the pan on top of the pad. The pad provided just enough gentle heat that my bread was ready on time. I love this product!
SO, this is the second Sacksy Thyme heating pad I have purchased. Excellent quality. Amazing smell. Beautiful design on fabric. I will likely purchase a third one next winter!!!!
I have experience with various types of electric heating pads. This works far better for me. A quick 2 minutes in the microwave, and you're good to go for about an hour. The scent is pleasant and herbaceous. I can't say my dog appreciates it, but I find it quite pleasant. The heating pad seems to have a slight moisture to it, somewhat like a hydroculator. It's a bit too warm to lay on for hard-to-reach muscles when first out of the oven, so wrap it on extremities like knee or hand, and then transfer in a few minutes to those other spots.

I order about 6 of these a year. I have tried other products that did not last an extended period. I am constantly cold and these are the best microwave heating pad I have found yet! A must purchase!
This thing smells amazing. It retains heat well. Also, thanks to the seam down the middle that I did not notice in the pictures originally, all of the beans/seeds/etc don't just settle into one corner and instead stay fairly well spread out.
I have been searching high and low for a new herbal heating/cooling pad. I lost mine somewhere in my house while I was in intense labor last year lol. My old one was purchased at a fair in Nova Scotia, so I knew there was no getting another! After reading countless reviews I chose this particular one. I am so glad I did. The smell is amazing and the size is perfect. I have used it with heat when I have a sore back, or cold when I have a headache, and both work perfectly. A+++++!!
Like a few other people that reviewed this product i have endometriosis too and have been longing to get one of these for so long. to heat helps tremendously with my symptoms. i try to be an honest reviewer so here it goes. the product its self seems really well made. the thing i liked most was that it came with a warranty for a year. the size of the product (for me) is perfect and covers the width of my body relatively perfectly. The scent of the thyme is so relaxing and not over bearing. I get migraines from overly scented things and this is just a light smell. it also keeps the heat very well, I put mine in the microwave for 1:30 and the heat lasts for about an hr. surprisingly you can also chill this one too. instructions that came with it say to keep in the freezer for about 2 hrs in a resealable bag. so far i have not had any negativity with my purchase. it actually arrived way before it was scheduled to which i was so grateful as i was dealing with my symptoms. colors are true to picture but i should note that its not machine washable but you can spot clean if needed. I would definitely recommend getting this product and plan to buy more lol. i honestly didn't know how much i would love this thing.
This heating pad is unlike so many of the other microwaveable herb based pads I've purchased in the past - it actually smells good up against your skin! The lavender scent remains after heating and is such a pleasant, welcome relief. Easy to heat up in the microwave and holds the heat well. Purchased two more for my kids and may buy the longer one as well.
