This supplement is truly amazing! It has so many uses! These help me with my Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I take two before a meal I know will upset my stomach and they help a lot! I also take three after drinking alcohol because the toxins bind to the charcoal and get carried out of your body quicker- this helps prevent hangovers! I also occasionally open up a capsule and use the charcoal to brush my teeth- it helps remove coffee stains! I don't do this often because it is bad for your enamel if you do it too much (it grates on your enamel and over time if you lose your enamel you will start to lose your teeth).
To those of you on a BIRTH CONTROL pill or who take daily medications: you must wait at least two hours after taking your medication to take a charcoal supplement or it will absorb your medication- charcoal absorbs/removes "toxins" and will absorb your meds. Be careful!

My go to charcoal for many years now. I have tried other brands, but Nature's Answer works best for me. I love that they're veggie caps and I respect this company's products! I always recommend this line of products to both clients and friends as the best company to find affordable but high-quality herbs & products.
Activated charcoal is a MUST for food poisoning. I never travel without it! (I travel abroad a lot) and these have come in so handy to help other fellow weary travelers that have succumbed to Montezuma's Revenge, or Bali Belly, or Delhi Belly (you get the idea;) Even though it is best to start taking the charcoal with plenty of water at the first signs of food poisoning it will STILL help and should still be taken at any later stage as well.
Activated charcoal works great as a binder for other fungus, bacteria, etc... and can be very helpful to take for the common cold or flu and especially helpful to take for those experiencing a 'herxheimer' reaction to bind up all the endotoxins being released from killing off bacteria and such in the body. If taking it for this reason, then it's best to take it away from foods (at least 2 hours before or after) so as not to bind all the nutrition from your food as well.

I have ordered these charcoal tablets consistently. They help with my acid reflux if I take 3 after a large spicy meal. They also seem to reduce my fluid retention around my menses. I'll continue to take these a few times per week.
This is a great product to have on hand for situations like tummy bugs and food poisoning. We always take this when we travel, and also keep a good stock in the house. My husband and I avoided a tummy bug the kids had by taking activated charcoal as prevention.
The product seal was intact but the cap was broken. I still used it. I chose this brand because it states it is vegetarian in the description & on the bottle. I haven't been taking the capsules long but the bloating & gassiness, I was experiencing before, has subsided some but not completely yet. Hopefully within the next few weeks, of taking it, it'll be a lot less.

This product rocks. I use it to brush my teeth with and I was amazed that I stopped building up any plaque. I always got some build up in the lower teath especially on the inside. After I brush with this I then brush normally. I use it once a day at night
I've tried other pills but this one works best to alleviate IBS bloating. Haven't noticed any issues with my other medication interacting with it.
These pills soak up toxins and stop nausea too. Be sure not to take them when you are taking other prescription meds as they will soak up the medicine and you wont absorb it. Only take this 2 hours before or after another med (or not at all if the med is for a critical issue you have). See your Dr first.
Excellent product to detoxify, for food poisoning etc. i also used it as a facial scrub and to clean teeth
I have horrible stomach acid issues and these are a god send. Fantastic quality. Best brand I've found.
