I went on a cruise in late April and forgot to bring my cane with me. I had to get my travel agent to rent one for me that could be brought to the ship before we sailed. This was a $200 lesson learned. My travel agent suggested purchasing a folding cane to put in my luggage so that this will never happen again. I guess I must live in a cave because I didn't there was such a thing as a folding cane. I immediately went to my favorite place, Amazon, and sure enough I had many choices. This cane is pretty, with a beautiful design on it. It comes in a carrying case, but I won't even try to get it back in the case, very tight fit. It makes a small, square package that stays folded and fits in my luggage perfectly. It is sturdy and the handle fits my hand very well. My regular aluminum cane takes up so much room in the car because it doesn't fold that I am using this more and more. I would definitely recommend this to anyone especially as a backup cane, in the trunk of the car, in your luggage, anywhere that you might forget to bring one with you.
I have had one for a while and after of year of use bought another one to keep in my car. In the past two years I have gone through back fusion, torn Achilles, and going through therapy for my second knee replacement Lots of cane use in that period. Most folding canes are rated to 250 lbs., this one is rated at 300 lbs. I am only 225, but like the insurance of higher rating. It is attractive, adjustable, folds away easily, and has very comfortable grip. Wrist loop is built into the handle and the rubberized grip (besides being comfortable) means you can park the cane on a counter without it sliding off.
For the most part this is pretty much what you'd expect. It's a fairly standard folding cane. I felt like the grip is still a bit hard, but I have to put more of my weight on it than you're really supposed to (these are for balance more than weight.) I wrapped tennis racket grip material around it and it's now as comfortable as any of them will ever get anyway. The grip felt too thin and hard on its own -- though less hard than wooden grips though obviously.
I was kind of annoyed that the "red crackle" version isn't really the kind of dark crimson red the pictures show but instead it's really more of a dark pink. I don't generally care that much and it is a very dark pink that looks really close to red anyway (plus functionality matters much more than form in a product like this) but I would have liked one of the other colors better I think.
Nice sturdy lightweight cane. The portion you grip is also very comfortable. I would have given it 5 stars if it were easier to fold and store. The flimsy plastic storage case will not last very long. I wish they would have included a nice carrying case.
It is light weight, portable. I can stow it away in my back pack when I don't need it. What more can I ask for? A bag to put it in when I am not using it along with a tie to bound it up when broken down. I thought the wristlet would work to hold it closed it doesn't. So a bag and or tie back would have been a nice feature.
However, for the price and the fee, I love it!

some other earlier reviews complain about how it is built...well, they finally got it right...the grip is super comfortable...additionally, when the cane snaps together it is extremely stable...I have 2 other more expensive collapsible canes...they both bend a little, under pressure, where each section slips into next...this one has no bend at all...meaning the sections are extremely well machined to match and fit tightly, yet come apart easily to break down...the color (blue crackle) is very pleasing...the price, under $12, is such a bargain for this product...buy one before they raise the price!..
Bought this when my previous travel cane broke after taking a fall. (Ear infection messed with my equilibrium and one misstep with that old cane was all it took.)
Shipped fast and much better than the old one, but even though they say it's a "gel handle", it's not. It's molded silicone. Still, it's fairly comfortable, and so far has been very stable.
I have spent big bucks on canes, this is by far the best one I have gotten. It feels great in my hand, it may not in a real small hand but for me, it's just right. I liked it so much, I purchased another.
Great for on the go where you need to fold it up. The bands that allow it to fold are tight and will snap it together if you just let go and flick your wrist. Great for me but something to watch out for if you don't want it to. Hand grip is comfortable and easy to hold on to.
I bought this to use before and after surgery. It's a great cane. It's height adjustable, and folds up neatly. You just slip on the plastic holder. Love the blue color design on this. Good product for the money.
