Excellent for patient safety. well built. padding for extra grip. Coming from a RN one of the best ones I have used and or seen. I would highly recommend this product to anybody not just the elderly. Keeps pillows in place. Affordable, WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ELDERS ON A BUDGET. 5 STARS
I've been falling out of bed lately due to acting out physically in nightmares. The rail was very easy to assemble and is solid! I'm a big guy, so that is important. I highly recommend the rail.
Nice quality and sturdy enough to support a big mama. Good price too. However, I just got around to using it and can't return it now. When we put it together, we found the horizontal piece that connects the ends had the holes on the wrong side. Update: representative called within 24 hours of my posting and offered a replacement. Very pleasant and understanding. I could not ask for more and will do business with this company again.
We bought this item for my Dad to use. He passed before we could make use of it but Lifestyle refunded our money even though we were beyond the warrantied time for return. The world could use more gestures like this one. Thanks, and we will pay it forward!
This is great. During assembly make sure spring pins in parts B are facing out. If not, you will need to switch them so that they are or else part D will not click into position. Assembly instructions show this, but you might miss it in your haste to try out this excellent bed rail.

I love it. It's surprising how sturdy it is as it doesn't have legs reaching the floor. I wish I had one years as I have trouble getting out of bed. I had gotten one with legs and the legs going to the floor were 4 inches too long. I assumed as long as it was adjustable it would be all right. It wasn't although I will keep it for another bed...
After back surgery I didn’t know how to get in or out of my queen size bed. So I ordered this device while I was still in the hospital. When I came home it was already delivered. It is super solid and sturdy, was easy to assemble and a lifesaver for me. It sits between mattress and Boxspring or base and I am now safe to go in and out of the bed.
A must have if your bed has nothing to hold on to.
We bought this for my mom when she moved to assisted living. She went from an uncomfortable but helpful hospital bed, to a comfortable adjustable bed, but it didn't have side rails. When this came in, my husband was shocked at how easy it was to put together and went straight to the assisted living to put it on mom's bed. It just slid under her mattress and was ready to use! She loves it and it is a great help. She has also found that it helps to hold it when she does her exercises while standing. I would definitely recommend this and buy it again!
Mom feel and broke her hip. She spent months in a nursing home recuperating and all she wanted was to go to her own home. This bed rail has helped to make her home safer and put my mind at ease. I have Acid Reflux, Lyme, and asthma and this has seriously helped so much plus it has kept my mountain of pillows from falling off my bed during the night and when I climb out of bed. I can relax more at night and not have to worry about how many times I will have to climb down and fix them or slide down in the bed. Helps a lot also getting up off the bed too. Didn't even need the strap that came with it because it sits so far under my mattress but I can see where some might find them helpful for peace of mind for loved ones. Great product!!! You can't go wrong with this one folks!! The padding on it is so comfortable I can even sleep with my feet resting on top very comfy.
