Covers great, but fell apart in less than 2 months. Best mask I've found, but going to have to buy another because the inner layer is half separated from the mask.
I only got a sleep mask when I started working graveyard and needed to sleep during the day. This worked perfectly and blocked out all the light without pressing on my eyes. Even no longer working grave this really helps me focus on going to sleep and relaxing, and is very helpful for naps during the day. I'm a side sleeper and this can cause the mask to move a bit, but not enough that it doesn't fulfill its purpose.
I've bought a couple other sleep masks and they were crap, this one I've had for a couple years and it's still going strong. The only thing is the elastic did stretch out, but I'm going to remove and reposition the Velcro pieces since the mask is totally fine otherwise.
These sleep masks are great for migraines. The bubbly shape over the eyes is perfect because you don't get that annoying/painful press on your eyes. The strap is adjustable so you can start off as tight or loose as you want and adjust as they wear down.
I'm not a huge fan of the particular pattern I chose, but who cares? You won't be seeing it once you're wearing it. They're comfortable enough to outweigh any poor choice I made in pattern, anyway!
Edit: The chevron pattern feels different than the other patterns. It's thinner and if you lay funny or something, the material bows in towards your eyes. It's not necessarily painful but it is annoying and uncomfortable. Next time, I will be getting a non-textured design.
They are molded so they don't touch your eyelashes and therefore aren't annoying. Totally block the light -- an issue when one of us goes to sleep before the other and also on summer days when the world gets much light in the early AM and I want a chance to sleep in. Great for napping on long flights, too. The best in terms of comfort. HOWEVER, I've had to revise my review because they just don't last. The layers separate in about a month or two. This is very disappointing. They are using some adhesive which simply gives up quickly. They need to fix this ASAP since many people are complaining. I'm going to buy yet another one but I'm actively looking for an alternative.
I love love love these & can’t sleep without them. I have two pairs at home (one by each of the two beds I alternate sleeping in, because of my back/neck issues), and a third one I leave in my travel kit, so I don’t accidentally forget to pack it.
I really like that they have dented eye patches so that I can actually open my eyes while it’s on. This is more comfortable for me both psychologically and physically. (And helps me be able to position it to make sure NO light is peeking through.)
I’ve been using these for over a decade and would give them ten stars if I could.

Description
The sleep mask that looks like a bra for your eyes. Created from the same material as swimwear, the 40 Blink mask weighs just .57 ounces and conform to facial contours without adding uncomfortable pressure around eyes. The completely light-blocking convex eye sections allow the wearer to blink without friction and protect natural or false lashes side lashes from twisting and tangling during sleep.
Adjustable elastic strap with velcro closure allows the wearer to create the perfect fit without pressure on the ears. It feels like someone turned out the lights! The 40 Blinks are ultra-flexible and can be folded in half and fitted into a pocket for portable sleep while traveling. This mask is great for people who travel long distances, work a double shift and would like to nap during their break or who work nights and have to sleep during the daytime hours, and for anyone who just craves a good night's sleep. Light is the number one reason that people can't sleep and the 40 Blinks Eye Mask, while blocking light, encourage natural melatonin production so that wearers sleep more deeply and for longer periods.
I get this eye mask for anyone traveling. Because it bumps out over the eyes, your eyelids can comfortably close without the irritation of a lot of other sleep masks. It is easy to forget you are wearing the eye mask. I use it in hotels, planes, trains, or any other place where there may be lights on while I'm trying to sleep.
This is the best sleep mask I have found that's currently on the market, but it does not block out all light around the nose. It is lightweight and very comfortable, however, and has an adjustable velcro strap. You can also blink because of its shape. The Body Shop used to make a sleep mask about 12 years ago made of black cotton and linen that had fabric around the nose, so it blocked all light, and the linen kept it cool and comfortable. It was discontinued about 10 years ago, and I have never found one that matches it. This is the next best thing.
And of course it adjusts to smaller heads as well.
Also, I like the bright color. I had a dark navy blue one that seems to vanish for long periods of time before it surfaces briefly.
A bonus is that this color was cheapest of the options, which must be supply and demand, but it's a very nice color, not like a puke green or something.
I love these eye masks, especially the hollows that allow my eyes "breathing room," rather than smashing my eyelashes against my face. Go for it!
I did my research on many of the eye masks listed on Amazon. I decided to take a chance on this one and am NOT disappointed. I love it and use it every night and even if I lie down for a bit on a Sunday afternoon! It is VERY comfortable and gives my eyes plenty of room to move around within the mask. If I wake up in the middle of the night, which happens with me every night, I check the time on the clock but then LOVE the fact that I can put this comfy mask back on and place myself into darkness. I go back to sleep much faster than without the mask. I have absolutely NO complaints about this mask. It is very comfy and not cumbersome, and it's placement on my head/face does not wake me up. I look forward to putting it on at night or for a quick nap!
My favorite sleeping mask by far! It stays on my face throug the night, is easily adjustable, and doesn’t press on my eyes. Also, and very importantly, it keeps out any and all light beautifully. The only problem is after a lot of use the foam/fabric layers start to come apart. But because they work better than any other I’ve tried, I continue to replace them. This is my third one.
So, besides not having a life span I’d like, they are exactly what I need from a sleeping mask!
