This old fashioned ice pack is better than the new kind with gel. It's colder with ice. Also, I can use it for 15 minutes, then put it back in the freezer for the next use (I just pound a couple time on the counter top to break up ice). The size is smaller than the one I grew up with, but perfect for using on a smaller area (6"?). So glad I got this 3-pack.
Love them, my son took in a trip for a tennis tournament and used them for his shins. Worked great
I loved the ice bags. I bought them to use when traveling but have found that I use them at home also. They did not leak and are made of a strong material. Strap with them is also a good quality but will only fit small people for the shoulder but almost everyone for knees.
Came in varying sizes and are lime green and blue just as I ordered. The elastic band is comfortable.
These are solid ice bags. They keep the ice cold for a long time and don’t leak. The strap was great since I hurt my knee, and it keeps the bag on securely as I walk around.

HOW TO USE:
1. To loosen and remove the cap turn it counter-clockwise.
2. Fill the ice bag two-thirds full with either cold tap water, ice water, crushed ice, or ice cubes.
3. Turn the cap clockwise until it is secured tightly on the ice bag.
4. Turn ice bag upside down and firmly press on the bottom to test for leakage.
5. Apply to desired area.
6. Condensation may form on the outside of the bag. Wrap the ice bag in a soft towel to protect the skin and to avoid condensation accumulation.
7. Apply ice bag for 20 to 30 minutes (maximum) at a time. Continue to reapply after injury. Wait one hour between applications.

We have used these multiple times for my husband's tennis elbow and the 3 sizes make it easy! Helps that it's a cute design!
I liked the various sizes. Adding water and ice to the bag helps to distributes the cooling effect.
