I had a problem with iliotibial band pain for several weeks and it was suggested that I try K tape. I initially taped the area for 4 days and left it off for 2 and reapplied. I would say that I am 89% better in this short time. Very easy to use. I "You Tubed" on how to apply. I appreciate that the tape is precut, however my only negative is that I would hav liked some shorter and some longer pieces. Overall, a great product and it stays in for several days.
Okay so I work in a plywood mill in southern oregon and it's strenuous work and long hours. I gave this tape a shot because I have seen cross fit athletes use it. I usually have sore shoulders and a sore lower back midway through the shift and by the end I'm done. I applied it to my shoulders and the spine between my shoulder blades. I would say have someone help you do it because the amount of contortion I had to perform to put it on was somewhat amazing. At the end of my 10 and half hour shift I had zero fatigue or soreness anywhere on my body. Only downside is that it's 330 am and I'm not tired! If you are looking to try this stuff out I would seriously recommend it.
I used this tape on my shoulder and felt great results. My muscles felt supported and I was able to move through my exercise routine with ease. It really made a difference in reducing strain and pain in my shoulder.
I had been wearing an elastic knee brace for a few months now. It made my knee feel a little more secure. I had injured it when I got out of the car and felt things popping inside, and it felt like something was loose inside. I didn't like wearing the elastic brace all the time because when I removed it, there would be lines and indentations and I worried about circulation if I wore it. A friend told me about this tape. It's like a miracle! Nothing tight around my knee, you can't even feel it when you put it on correctly and it lasts for days. After I shower and it is wet, I press it with a towel, and then use the hair dryer and it's as good as new.
And I now feel like there's nothing wrong with my knee when I wear it! I don't feel anything moving around any more!
I highly recommend this tape. Just be sure that you rub it long enough when you put it on so it will stick properly.
when I first saw the trend of athletes using K-tape I thought, "what's this clown doing?" Then I started seeing other folks at the gym using it with and thought, "what a bunch of lemmings." But after dealing with a some plantar fasciitis for several months I read where one person used the tape on their foot. I had tried rest, the boot, and all the other methods with no relief. so I tried the tape. The difference is night and day. It allowed me to do my job with no foot pain (I'm on my feet all day). And I could get back to the activities I like doing. Highly recommend. At least for plantar fasciitis relief. Haven't tried it on anything else. Can't wait until I hurt something else so I can try it on that too :-i

Stays on longest and don't curl up! I've used a lot of brands of kinesiology tape (even the best known brand), and this one has lasted the longest without curling up or falling off. This is great, because I wear work goives a lot and my hands and arms sweat, but it still stays on. It has helped me through tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, and Achilles's tendonitis. I can feel a big difference without the tape. I'm sticking with this brand because it's the best!
Ok I'm sure this product is terrific when used everyday. However, I used it twice and my skin blistered under the tape the first time, so I was scared to use it again. The second time it did the same thing only when I pulled it off, even using cocnut oil to lube it up, it pulled off a few layers of skin in patches. Now, I am not saying that it's not a good product, but if you have any sensitivity to medical tape, latex, and glues don't use this. Apparently I have some sort of allergy to this tape, though I have never had a problem with tapes before.
I recently sprained an ankle and this came recommended by a colleague to help stabilize my ankle during healing. I'm 2 weeks into healing from a bad sprain, and the most stable my ankle has felt was while using this tape (I have also wrapped with an ACE bandage and am regularly using an air cast).
The tape is a bit too pricey to use constantly during my healing (the pre-cut strips will allow me to do 6 full wraps and have 2 strips left over, as the guides for proper ankle wrapping that I have found apply 3 strips per use), but is definitely my preferred support.
Also of note: I have very sensitive skin, and usually end up with red marks from most bandages. I was fully expecting the same to happen with this. However, after about 12 hours of application, I had no rash-like irritation from wearing this.
As a physical therapist (in an outpatient clinic), I utilize kinesiotape for a variety of purposes with my patients, including muscle facilitation, fascia or structure offloading, and/or edema management. I must say I have been bought many kinesiotape rolls for myself from 321 STRONG over the past year and am consistently pleased with the quality of their products. The pre-cut strips are a great option if you plan to use kinesiotape on a regular basis (less need for constant scissor use), and the length is standard for use on larger muscles or across multiple joints. I would also highly recommend this product based on the customer service as the company makes customer satisfaction and education a priority.
I have tried five different kinds of kinesiology tape. I prefer this over kt tape, kt tape pro, & theraband kinesiology tape. These were precut 2" x 10" strips, which are what I want for my application. This seems to stick the best. I don't like the way theraband precut requires you to tear the paper backing to separate strips; on this one the paper is perforated between pieces. The fifth I tried was kinseio tex classic. It didn't come in the precut I wanted. It is less stretchy than what I am used to using. (I am not a professional physical therapist)
