My daughter is on Coumadin and I cut her while trimming her fingernails. The tiny cut bled for four hours until I was able to get my hands on this. I will not leave home without it now and have it stashed in diaper bags and cars and on both levels of my house.
Unfortionatly I finally got to try this product a few weeks ago. It does what it say it will. I had a nice deep wound on my finger and we applied one of the packets and it did clump up and stop the bleeding fast. I probably needed a few stitches? I used a few butterflies and kept it covered. It has healed nicely now.
Rather than by a trauma kit, I make my own. Every trauma kit need something to stop bleeding. Nothing will stop a gaping wound or a pumping vessel. However, if you have a cut that just doesn't seem to stop, pour this on.
In the old days, we used to put spiderweb on it. You could also use silk or even toilet paper. However, this is a lot nicer, it's sterile and it will allow the wound to form a clot and hold back the blood.

If you are taking a anticoagulant medication such as Plavix, this is a must have. It stops your bleeding within minutes. I was onchemo which liquifies your blood as well - I have everyone have one in their car/purse/work and home. Great product !

I've used this product before when it was packaged differently. This packing is 100% better. The product stings a little when you first use it, but it stops the bleeding in smaller cuts.
it works and works fast . However it stings and is quite messy. I'm on Coumadin and it took all 4 vials to make it stop bleeding.
this is a MUST...it is a powder you sprinkle on and it stops bleeding immediately. always keep this on hand.
Is as described, fortunately I haven't needed to use it yet.
