For new parents looking for a soothing white noise machine, the SOAIY works very well!
Here are a few things of what I liked about:
- Comes with a nightlight with different brightness settings (10%, 30%, 60%, 100%)
- Has rock-a-bye baby, twinkle little star and cradle songs, summer night, white noise and brook (rain)
- Has a timer
- Can run off USB
Back when we had our first son, we had to depend on a toy light that play soothing music but batteries died quickly. It helps to have something that runs off USB (Note: The unit does not have a rechargeable battery, which is a bummer).
I like the timer and the fact that if your baby gets older, this can still be used as a noise machine for professional use or for those who need background sounds for sleeping.
The only thing I didn't like are the available sounds, the summer night with sounds and bugs and crickets annoys me, the brook (rain) makes me want to use the bathroom and the white noise is the only thing I found to my liking.
Most noise machines that I have offer numerous noises, from a fan to A/C like sound and more. This one, you only get those three and the three for babies.
If anything, the unit is very good and great for parents of young children who need that added noise/smooth baby songs to get your child to sleep.
But for those strictly looking for a noise machine for adults to help you sleep, my favorite is the LectroFan Micro and has a rechargeable battery built in.
This machine has very clear distinct sounds exactly as described. The light is soft. Controls are easy to use. Unit is lightweight . Great for child or adult. Love that it has 2 soundracks like you find on baby swings, and the other usual soundracks. I have been using sleep machines for 25 years. This is one of the best at a reasonable price. I highly recommend. I would buy again or give as a gift. Very pleased.
This works great for our infant son. I love the varying levels of brightness on the night light and the white noise setting is great. The only down side is that it comes with a USB cord, but not the plug. So you have to use one that you already have. If you are like us, you probably have tons from buying different phones, but still odd that it doesn't come with its own.

Great quality
I purchased this for my mother to use when she babysits her grandchildren. It has a soft night light on it with a picture of an owl on it. There are six melody settings to choose from, as well as buttons to adjust the volume. You are also able to adjust how long you want the melodies to play. It works wonders with getting them to fall asleep!
This is a must have for anyone looking to help sooth their baby to sleep !!! 😃

it's awesome. I am a student live with some roommates. they are so noisy. when i got this product, i use it during study time. it greatly cover the noise, create a great study environment. it helps me get concentrate on studying. and the products sound is good too. but the way , it comes with light . really have to say it is a 5 stars products
this machine has a very cute owl light. my daughter is carrying it around with her all day long. it has three different time sets and adjustable volume. longlasting power and soothing music. now my daughter already know how to use it on every nights.
