I had a long arm cast for 6 weeks. The first 2 I used the classic garbage bag & tape, then I purchased this cast protector Worth every penny! I could easily get it over the cast and it was completely air tight so even a drop of water didn't get in!! This was the most useful thing I have purchased EVER! A true lifesaver!! I would recommend this product to anyone with a cast!!
The doctor recommended I try one. Terrific is the best way to describe it. I have been using it for several weeks. Very easy to get on and off. First few days I needed help getting it on. Now I can do it one handed. Makes taking a shower part of the normal routine, instead of another problem of having a cast on one hand. Highly recommended, never had any leaks in normal shower use. Well worth the price for convenience. Makes you wonder why they aren't given out with casts at the hospital.
This was definately money very well spent. I've been using this for 5 weeks and it has kept my cast bone dry. Well made. This will even fit a muscular man. Very easy to get on & off. Note: I have not used this for swimming so I have no input for that use. In the shower it was perfect!
got this for my mother (89 years old) & while it was difficult to put on the first couple of times it became easy enough for her to eventually do by herself and it still was snug enough that her cast never got wet or damp while showering. I sure didn't want to try duct tape & a plastic bag on skin that fragile and this worked perfectly. Would highly recommend it's use.

i am getting a complete Knee replacement so this is a full leg cover...may be too slick for me...perfect for a cast
After extensive hand a wrist surgey I was concerned how I was going to keep my dressing dry while showering. This product worked like a charm - not a bit of water leaked through. With ony one working hand, I did have to have my husband help me put it on for me. Much easier than taping a plastic bag overf my arm like my surgeon suggested!
