I have bad knees and was looking for something easier than a dripping bag of ice to put on them when they bother me or after working out. These ice packs fit my needs perfectly. They freeze quickly, and once frozen you can still bend them into shape to drape over your knee or whatever body part needs icing. They stay cold plenty long enough (you should only ice for 15-20 minutes at a time anyway), and there's no dripping or mess. I haven't tried them as warm packs but I think they would work well for that also.

Loved these pacs. Broke my tibia plateau, lots of swelling at knee and ankle when I could finally put weight on it. Wrap these pacs around ankle and knee with ace bandage and was able to walk around with it and do what I needed to do and it kept the swelling manageable. Was a wonderful product!
Great price and they work great. My daughter keeps stealing them because she loves them so much. Easy to freeze, easy to heat. Just don't heat for long periods of time, maybe 30 secs then check, if you don't follow the directions (and directions just don't get it hot enough) it will pop open.
I have not used for heat so maybe they will hold up better, also if you use bag and freeze flat they work well. Decent material far better than plastic basic ones. They don’t stay frozen forever; about just what is claimed. I can say how long they will last but they seem durable.
I would highly recommend these ice packs to everyone. They are made with a stronger vinyl-like fabric, so it can handle the wear and tear as well as the changes in temperature. I like the images on them too. Also, they were sent really fast and well packaged. Perfect for sore backs and shoulders! My preschoolers also use them. :)

Seriously, wow. These hot/cold things are BIG, and awesome. They heat and cold lasts so long! They're flexible, comfortable and I will keep using them. I love that the kids can grab them from the freezer for various ouchies, and no bandaids being wasted either :)
Perfect as an ice pack, stays frozen long. Also flexible. But when I tried to use it as a heating pad, it didn’t work. I soaked it in the freshly boiled hot water several times and it still didn’t get hot enough, although lost the heat super fast. But amazing when using as an ice pack.
These compresses are really full of the 'gel' and when you freeze them, they will last a long time while you are using them. The ones I have bought at Walgreens are 'ok', but seem to lose their chill too fast, and don't have nearly as much 'gel' in them. Sometimes I may have multiple parts of my body I want to use the compress on, and these will stay cold and effective for a long time to allow you to do that. They will really stay cold for over an hour, very impressed!
