Great little ice bag. Very convenient for icing injuries or boo boos for the kids. Bag gets very cold, almost as cold as using a plain plastic ziploc bag but it does not sweat like a plastic bag would. The ice in the bag also stays in pieces and doesn't form into a huge ice ball which is a plus. I recently had surgery on my shoulder and got this to use and it works as expected. I have used it approximately 10 times so far with no leaks. As you can see from the picture I provided, the top is threaded so it screws onto the bag, no way it will leak with this lid type. Only issue I have is that once filled with ice the bag is approximately 7 inches in diameter (see photo). I believe the 9 inches advertised is the diameter off the bag when empty. So if you need to cover a bigger area I would recommend getting a larger size bag. Additionally, I have not used this bag with hot water, but I see no reason that it would not perform perfectly as a hot water bag as well.
Bought this to throw in my lunch cooler that I travel with. I frequently take it on business trips to keep my lunch/dinner cool. I used to use freezer ice packs but many of the hotels I stay in do not have freezers for me to recre se my packs overnight. I found this solution and it works great to fill with ice in the morning to keep my lunch chilled throughout the day. Best part is that it doesn't leak a bit. Very happy with my purchase.
This is a GODSEND! We travel a lot so it isn't feasible to use the gel version because most hotel rooms don't have freezers. This one is even better than my childhood version because of its size.
Small and the lid stays tight! I use an alcoholic mixture inside so that it will freeze but still be slushy and molds to my skin this way. Blue part of the bag does not get wet that much there’s a little moisture on it but it doesn’t get into my clothing the metal piece around the mouth does get quite wet and that is not my favorite thing the fact that the lid closes tight and that is it is completely sealed is a great benefit in order to make sure that my clothes do not get wet I just wrapped the ice bag in a light cotton towel and the cotton towel absorb any extra moisture that is produced. I like this size using it the way that I do with soft liquid however I would not want to suggest that you use actual ice cubes in a bag this size. If you’re going to use ice cubes I suggest you go up to the larger size 9 inch. I think this is a good deal. I am happy I got one
This ice pack is AWESOME!!! My Daughter is going through the age where she feels she need an ice pack for everything!!!! I usually use the "boo boo pack" or something similar but they are either left out and not frozen when I need them. They slip into the couch, or lost in her play room. My Neighbor took one of these in a similar brand out for her Son as he is the same age and I immediately had to have one.
My Daughter loves this thing! She carries it around everywhere and it is so convenient. Stays cold for a super long time! So long, I have not been able to get an accurate time as I wind up dumping it before it is melted and store it away for more than likely the "next day". Ha ha.
This has also help me with my migraines! So easy to load up and use. Then dump out and put upside down on a paper towel to make sure it dries out to store away. I would say I need more of these, but honestly, this baby does the trick and I don't know when I will need two ongoing ice packs. BUT if I do, I will most definitely re-order this!

I ordered these in the 6” and 9” size. The 6” is more like 4 really, so I probably won’t use that much. But I love the 9” and just ordered the 11 inch, as well. The 9” is plenty big for me though. I’m taking a medication that causes severe hot flashes, and I’ve bought a dozen different ice packs, but these are my favorite, hands down! I can’t get anything else to freeze fast enough. I’d go through all of them in one night, but not these!! They do NOT leak, so far anyway. And they hold a lot of ice, so they stay cold for many, many hours! I plan to carefully rise out with bleach water every so often, and use warm water and dish soap (Dawn) to keep clean. Life saver!! I use this whenever I feel a migraine coming on. Much better than a gel ice pack (which quickly looses its cool) or a ziplock baggie full of ice (which inevitably somehow leaks on you) or even a hard ice pack (which keeps it’s cool, but is hard to get on the correct surface area in a comfortable position..plus you need a towel or something between you & the ice pack).
This lil’ sucker is small so it’s great for travel or just for any time use (or for kids).
It’s refillable, making it quick & easy to get more cold as soon as you need it.
It doesn’t leak.

I have to keep my food cold for several days and I use these bags. I get new ones every year because eventually the sharp edges of the ice create tiny tears that then allow leakage. I've used several other brands and these are the longest lasting ones on the market.
No leaks! Typically, of the last 50+ ice bags I've tested, I've completely failed in finding a leak-resistant one, until now. Every single other bag had required a diaper or two to stop water leaks from the ice melting.
I've finally found it, the leak "proof" ice bag. Ordered the smaller and larger sizes hoping they too will be leak free.
