Bought these for my casserole keeper. With the casserole carrier it keeps what’s cold cold and what’s hot hot! Would buy more!
These hot/cold packs are like the one that originally came with my casserole dish. That one worked well until I left it in the microwave too long, and it exploded so these should work just as well. Shipping was prompt and as expected so they buying experience was quite pleasant.
Used to help keep kids lunch warm, but the heating instructions are not long enough to keep food warm. When following instructions the bag breaks. (Pyrex offers FREE replacement within yr of purchase) I had purchased additional bags and now heat bags in water at 6 minutes regular heat. Bags lasting longer (wear and tear) & heat remains longer as well. And yes, we also heat the food.
Summary:
This works well for muscle pain. I also use this as an alternative for heating/cooling for foodstuffs.
Pros:
1) Stays warm/cold for a decent time.
2) The plastic cover is relatively durable.
Cons:
1) Heats (in the microwave) unevenly.
2) When frozen, it’s very hard like a brick.
Couldn't find these at any store. Using them to keep my meals warm when there's no microwave at work; I'm in construction. Overall keeps food warm, not hot. I had to heat up the pads a bit longer than stated to get the desired warmness. Might need to go a bit higher. Overall decent product.

The Pyrex Hot/Cold Unipack was designed for the Portables line of Pyrex products where either heat or cold is required. This pack can be either microwaved or frozen. There are many other applications of this product such as for use in lunch boxes or bags. Since they are flexible they will fit many needs.
These things are heavy and large. Was hoping for something a little smaller.
These worked really well and kept my dish super hot on a freezing winter night. I used them in conjunction with an insulated bag.
Purchased these are replacements for the one I had used for years. They do a great job and the value for the money was excellent
These are great for keeping the large pyrex backing dishes very hot for a long time.
Bags are fairly thin. We put it inside a ziplock bag, hopefully get longer usage with it.
