I am a skincare junkie. I'm always looking for efficacious products that are natural and affordable. I have oily, combination skin. I have so many brands of facial treatment oil at home but The Alana Mitchell Night R1 Facial Oil has gotta be one of my favorites. First of all, it is made of 100% natural ingredients, such as jojoba, rosehip seed, avocado and coconut oil.
It has retinol and coenzyme q10 to fight against signs of aging. Even though I only used it for one night, my skin feels smoother and softer in the next morning. I feel rejuvenated. My skin looks healthier and glowy. I'm happy to see good results in just one night. I can't wait to try this night oil for a month and post my progress :)
My skincare routine is:
1. Gentle cleansing
2. Toning with rosewater
3. Hyaluronic acid serum
4. The Alana Mitchell Night R1 Facial Oil
5. Anti-aging peptide eye cream
6. Face Cream (optional)
I skipped putting on a face cream after because the Alana Mitchell Night R1 Facial Oil is already hydrating enough for my oily skin.

This product has a happy ending, but at first this product gave me a bit of trouble. Also it's my first retinol product that I've tried. So, I've never put oils on before moisturizer, so that was really weird for me, (instructions say to apply after cleansing and then follow with moisturized and eye cream) so I'd forget and then put it on as the last step. And the first couple of times my skin didn't feel any different when I used it. Then I finally started remembering to put it on right after cleansing and toning, and it freaked my skin out, (but this always happens at some point when I add new oils in my routine) so I knew it'd still take a couple tries. I also used a heavier moisturizer than I normally do, and that also seemed to keep my skin in check. After the initial skin shock....I continued it for a week straight just to see if there where any decent results (I didn't want to quit because it smelled so good and was kind of relaxing to smell as I went to sleep). I wish I would've kept the before picture because my acne scaring, which I am so uncomfortable with; had faded those spots so much! But well I don't think it helped with any fine lines (not that I have many), but I wake up loving how glowy and almost poreless my face looked. This would totally be worth the repurchase for me! Whatever Alana Mitchell is doing with her skincare just keep it up, because I think I'm in love!
Omg! This Retinol Oil is amazing! Makes my face feel moisturized with out any greasy feeling. Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Smells good too. Just 5 drops (yup, that is all you need) nightly after washing, smooth over face and neck and then I use the Alana Mitchell Anti Aging Peptide Eye Cream. There is a difference with wrinkles and fine lines disappearing. My skin looks great and always get compliments. I recommend and definitely would call this my miracle in a bottle.
"This R1 Retinol anti-aging face night oil is AMAZING!! I have fair/light, sensitive skin and this is the first product with retinol that did not irritate or cause any redness to my skin. You only need and few drops. It is not greasy and my skin is much softer and brighter in the morning. My skin glows!! The Retinol R1 oil is amazing! The Q10 and retinol really helps plump up the skin. It provides my face with so much moisture. You only need a very small amount and I use the Daily Vitamin C moisturizer by Alana Mitchell right after. I've had lots of sun damage. I feel this product is starting to even out spots and plump up my skin. 5 stars!

It's Thanksgiving, & I'd like to thank Alana Mitchell for this R1 Retinol Facial Oil. This is my 3rd purchase of this product & am hopeful that I'd be able to continue to get it, thanks in large part to the discount that this Seller has offered. Truly a magical oil for me, love it upon first application on my skin, & after I've washed my face the next AM. An essential part of my skin regimen.
UPDATE: I stocked up on this a while ago. I tried the MCT/hemp oil, but nothing really compares with the R1 retinol facial oil. This has done wonders for me & at least now I'm sure it's what I would always want. After trying Alana's R1 Retinol anti-aging face night oil, I will rate it a 9! I'm so happy that I started using this oil! I have used many Retinol night oils before but have never been able to decide on one that I really liked. Other's irritated my face by stinging or causing redness. Alana's Retinol oil didn't feel like that at all though! It feels very light on my face and I don't even have to use a lot either. The dropper that comes with it, helps control the amount when putting on my face. Best of all my skin feels plump and hydrated in the morning!
I love this Retinol oil for my face. You see results right away. Unlike other retinol products that left my face stinging and irritated, this oil serum is velvety smooth and actually soothing. I found that the oil delivery method for retinol much better than gels or creams. You only need a few drops so the bottle lasts a long time. It is not tested on animals and that is important to me. I try to avoid chemicals as much as possible so I appreciate the natural ingredients in this product. I have found a new favorite for my bedtime routine. I wake up with soft skin and fewer wrinkles after using this Retinol R1 anti-aging face night oil!
I love using Retinol R1 Anti-Aging oil to treat my damaged skin from years of acne. It seems to be reducing some of the scarring I have on my cheeks already in a few weeks of using it daily. It’s not only refreshing when I put it on at night but my skin feels nourished when I wake up the next morning.
I really love this oil! I have extremely sensitive skin, so I wanted to use it for a good week to see how my skin would respond. First, the smell is amazing!! That alone makes me want to use it. My skin loves this product too. After a week of using my skin didn't freak out with pimples everywhere like it usually does when using new products. I have oily skin and using this oil has not only hydrated my skin, but I have noticed a decrease with my oily skin. This product works! I would highly recommend this!
