Perfect for me. I have an impressive collection of compression socks which as a rule are a pain to get on and off. My feet/ankles have always been prone to swelling -- long plane trips etc. Additionally I was hit by a car on my bike & broke my tibia, fibula and a lot of bones in my foot. These socks (I bought them in pairs) are easy to get on and off and provide exactly the support I need to prevent ankle swelling while providing comfort & support. More importantly, to me, they are not so tight as to hurt the part of my foot with the broken bones which are sensitive to the touch but need support when walking.
I broke my ankle and fibula 2 1/2 months ago, had surgery and was in a splint for 2 weeks, a cast for 4 weeks, then a walking boot for another 4. I was leery about coming out of the boot because my ankle would feel vulnerable. But, with the doctor's ok, I stopped wearing it when I got this. It gives me just the right amount of support without being uncomfortable, cumbersome or tight at all. What a relief! I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe and my ankles normally measure 9" but the one I'm wearing this on is 10" now, because of the surgery and residual swelling. It's nice to be able to wear this, give my foot the freedom to stretch out fully, and be back in 2 shoes again.
I am a runner but I was starting to get a lot of pain in my Achilles so I wasn't able to run as far. I bought one of these and it helped keep the pain at bay and eventually the pain stayed away. I was getting ready to run a half marathon and the pain was coming back in borh feet so I bought a second support and I was able to run the entire race with no problems from my feet. I highly recommend this to anyone that is having problems with pain in their Achilles or bottom of their feet.
I had a severely sprained ankle with extreme swelling for months ..After wearing a boot and going thru extensive therapy -- I had never loss strength in my ankle , but I loss the normal flexibility due to the swelling .. The swelling would fluctuate ....It was recommended to me by my orthopedic PA --to wear some type of support to help decrease the swelling ...I was hesistant at 1st , did not want to wear another stiff / hard apparatus.

I have a bad ankle that I am actually supposed to wear a leg brace with. But the times I don't want to wear it I need some support. But most supports have rough edges or are just plain uncomfortable. I find these fit all my shoes and are very comfortable. And this is the person that is always the 'princess and the pea' when it comes to things being uncomfortable.
I have purchased several of these compression sleeves since breaking my ankle 3 yrs ago. Though my ankle healed, it will still swell after being on my feet all day, thus I lose some range of motion and have pain in the joint. This sleeve has eliminated the swelling and the associated pain. Works like a charm!!
Surprisingly supportive for such a lightweight sleeve. I was having trouble putting weight on my foot after the first day of a 3 day, 60 mile walk. I slipped the support on and instantly was able to walk with no pain. I was able to complete the entire walk with absolutely no problem while wearing this support. My only complaint would be that I didn't realize only one support comes in a package and I would have ordered two if I had known/realized that. I really recommend this support!
After breaking my ankle, some years ago, I was bullied to return to work before it was healed. I have to compression on the ankle 24/7 or the ankle will swell up.
I have a bunch of these and I rely on them. The Zensa ones hold up far longer compared to since others on the market.
After a bad ankle sprain, I needed something that would provide support and stability while it healed. This was the perfect solution. It is thin and less bulky than many other braces. It is also more flexible than the typical stiff ankle brace, which made it much easier to put on. I still wear it when I know I am going to be on my feet a lot - just for the added support.
