I was an Army doc and am now a teacher. I have been putting together a trauma kit in case it is needed and these were the last elements - part of my 'bleed bag'.
Clever design, easy to use one-handed with a little bit of practice.
Easy to use, well designed, sturdy. I have them individually packed in Ziploc bags and are in my MOAB sling bag ready to go. Hopefully, they will sit there forever, but better to have something you never need than want for something you need and don't have.
I've not used these in an emergency situation yet (thankfully), but have tested the product and they work just as well as the ones I used to carry in the Army.
We took a Stop the Bleed class and learned so much about the use of tourniquets and how they save lives - highly recommend this inexpensive investment.
Need to stop the flow of bleeding from a severed limb or other serious injury? This is something you need. If you work in high risk environments you might as well throw a couple in your pack. A nice addition to vehicle first aid kits as well. Get a couple, one is never enough.
Nice packaging. I have not taken them out of their sealed package because I am already familiar with how to use them. So, why take them out of the package and expose them to the elements. From my inspection, they seem to be the real deal and at the best price I could find online.

1. Instruction for Use: a. Apply the tourniquet to the bleeding site and place the wounded limb through the band loop.
b. Pull the band tightly and fasten it back on itself. Adhere the band around the limb and twist the rod till bleeding stops.
c. Place the rod inside the clip and lock it.
d. Check wound condition and apply additional tightening to the tourniquet if massive bleeding continues.
e. Adhere band over the rod inside the clip around the limb.
f. Secure the rod and band with the strap and record applied time on white strap.

I got these to give to my husband for when he goes hunting. I also keep one in my purse. I teach the Stop the Bleed course and they're just like that brand and like the ones we have in the ER.
As advertised. Haven't had to use them yet.
Great trainer tourniquets (as what I am using them for in my business.) They cut off blood flow (no palpate distal pulses) and have held up really nice, thus far.
Easy to use and the time of application tag is great to have.
Nice quality product. Having a bulk purchase option would be good. $5.00 would be a better price.
