I had knee replacement surgery a month ago. You have to keep you knee iced a a lot. I was double and triple bagging zip lock bags and they were heavy and would leak in the night. I remembered these kinds of packs from when I was a kid. Stores usually don't carry them, so I found these. I love the different sizes as I put the large one on the top of my knee and the medium one on the back of the knee. I also put water and rubbing alcohol in them and put them in the freezer. They don't freeze all the way and I can mold them around my knee and they stay cold for a long time. These worked great for me!!! Thanks!
I am a flight attendant, and take my food with me on the road. I use the large ice bag in my food bag. It works perfectly. So far it does not leak. Like any ice bag you do have to refresh the ice. I would definitely purchase again. And it's cute. I get a lot of comments on it. I have not used it for hot water. Just ice
This is a good product. I have used the medium sized ice bag the most for my swollen knee. It does not leak and the mouth is large enough for putting the ice in easily. I would recommend this product to anyone and I would buy it again.

How to use:
1. To loosen and remove the cap turn it counter-clockwise.
2. Fill the ice bag 2/3 full with either cold tap water, ice water, crushed ice, or ice cubes; and add a little water to make the ice bag better fitting. If you want to use it for heat compress, fill with hot water (not boiling) instead.
3. Then expel excess air in the ice bag and turn the cap clockwise until it is secured tightly on the ice bag.
4. Turn ice bag upside down and firmly press on the bottom to test for leakage; then applied to desired area.
6. Condensation may form on the outside of the bag. Wrap the ice bag in a soft towel to protect the skin and to avoid condensation accumulation.
7. Apply ice bag for 20 to 30 minutes (maximum) at a time. Continue to reapply after injury. Wait one hour between applications.

I love these especially the fact that I have 3 different sizes...I suffer from headaches and these are great for that...I can have one on my head and one on my neck...they are pretty and built very well. Great price too!

Very glad that I purchased these. The package arrived quickly and I love the pink ice bags. They are so soothing when filled with cold water and ice cubes & so much easier than regular cold pack which slide all around. The bad forms around the area of pain and sits nicely. ( sprained ankle here, ) nice relief provided and kind of a nostalgic first aid product, which is comforting.
