I had a laparotomy in March and had been searching all over for something that could protect my scar from the sun for the summer. This tape was such a blessing. I cut the tape to the size of my scar and wore it anytime I had to wear my bathingsuit. It kept 100% of the sun off of my scar. I wore it at the beach, on the boat, and swimming. Always stayed on and worked perfect!
I was needing a medical tape that would stick to my skin better than the usual standard white medical tape. This tape is good for keeping my patches on that dispense medicine. They will stick to me but I reinforce them with this tape to hold up in showers and movement. It works wonderfully. I think you would be impressed. The tape is durable, strong and has a good adhesive to it.
Have a huge scar from surgery and summer is here. This works great as a sunblocker. Can swim multiple times and sun bathe, and it stays on for hours. Left it one day too long (all day boating trip) and did develop a bit of a reaction, but gave it a few days break and it is fine.
