As an individual with a wheelchair dependence, I'm constantly looking for assistive devices. I also have difficulty in bending to reach items on the floor. So, these grabber tools are almost necessity for me.
Through the years, I've used various models of reach grabber tools. Some were a bit heavy for my weak arms to handle, some were too weak to even pick up an empty glass or cup, and some were just too flimsy and broke easily. I've used these for just a couple of weeks now and just love them already.
Let's talk about the Cons first and quickly overcome them:
1. It does not have a grip lock. This would help a weak hand to continue gripping an object with less effort.
2. No magnet to pick up tiny objects such as screws and needles.
And now, about the Pros:
1. The grip end (handle) direction can be adjusted. (With one hand holding the handle, use the other hand to pull out the grip end. Once it's pulled out, you can rotate the grip end to whichever direction you desire. Then, let go of it to lock it at the desired direction.)
2. I find that the 32" length is just about the right length for me. It can reach up to the kitchen upper cabinet or into a deep cabinet that I often need to. (A 26" grabber is a bit too short for me, and a 36" grabber can be a bit heavy and harder to control when picking up an item.)
3. Having a foldable grabber, makes it easy to travel with. It's a must to have when shopping for grocery and department stores. So often, needed items are placed up high and no one is around to help.
4. I like the connect locking system of the arms. It stays lock up when it unfolds.
5. This tool is light; yet, strong enough to pick up items up to a pound or so. That is, if one can handle that much weight.
6. It is also easy to grab small items such as safety pins, screws, paper clips, etc..
7. The wide open grip handle allows me to pick up larger (in width) items than the grabbers that I've had.
8. Unlike some other grabbers that only have the rubber covers at the very tip ends, these have rubber covers up the whole handles. The "rubberized gripper grab onto objects and prevents them from slipping" really works well as advertised in this model.
9. The rubber that covers the handle makes it easy to have a steady hold of the device without slipping off your hand.
10. It really works well!
Although, I can't comment on how it will last in a long run and despite of a couple of missing features, I still recommend having at least one these around the house. As for me, the price is affordable enough that I've ordered more so, I could have one in each room for convenient and not having to drag 1 around the house.

The silicone around the 'grabber' edge allows me to pick up the smallest of items such as coins and knitting markers, as well as larger items such as clothes and pillows. I am able to be more self-sufficient and not constantly asking others to pick something up for me. A must for those recuperating from surgery and protecting your back from unnecessary strain.
I bought this to pick up trash at the beach. I was expecting to pay a similar price for one piece so I was happy to get two for this price. Quality is higher than I anticipated; pivoting head, squeeze trigger and folding feature all function as expected. I have used this to pick up trash less than 1cm square up to bottles and cans. After a 3 hour clean up event my hand was not cramped and the grabber showed no signs of poor quality. I have recommended this item to other people at clean up events.
I needed a new one of these type of tools. I'm so glad that I purchased the Futureup. It REALLY does allow you to pick up the smallest things as well as others. You know those very thin liners in vitamin bottle caps? I dropped one on the floor and NO problem grabbing it!
Unlike some other grabbers I've tried, this is very lightweight yet sturdy. This is really great because of lack of strength in arms and wrist!
I love that it folds up! I actually keep it in the plastic bag that it was in.

I ordered these because we often pick up trash when we go hiking and also participate in river cleanups during the year. As you can imagine, we come across some pretty gross stuff. These work great for picking up trash, not just paper, but also heavier items like bottle and cans. They appear to be well made and should stand up to repeated use over time.
The fact that they can fold is an added bonus, it makes t possible to carry them in a backpack.

I have MS, and I am in a wheelchair, and I drop things constantly, so I need much help reaching, grabbing, and picking up. I do keep a Reacher in every room, and I take one in a tote bag when I leave the house (Can someone please pick up my soft pretzel?) for the store and my constant dropping. I've used it a lot already, and so far, some of what I've picked up are my dropped medicine tablets, my lumbar pillow, slipper, colored pencils, and trash paper that never seems to hit the trash can. I am very pleased. It has no problem picking up the tiny things such as macadamia nuts, pills and pencils. or grabbing the larger items. I also use it to pull things towards me. It's also great to be able to collapse it. There is a notch cut out where the inner cable sits nicely when it's collapsed, so it does NOT break the plastic. I've had this problem with other brands, so this is a great solution. I am very happy.
I absolutely LOVE this tool. I have a few apple and pear trees in my yard and wanted something to help pick up the felled fruits, good and bad. Due to my elder age, it's become too difficult to bend over and pick up the fruit to either deposit into a basket for carrying inside, or into a bucket to dump into my compost pile. Using this "Pick-up" tool, I can readily pick up any fruit and deposit it into the appropriate container. Another advantage is that, when the fruit occasionally has bees eating the ground-side of the fruit, I don't have to worry about being stung when picking up this fruit. The triple "grappler" readily grabs hold of the fruit. It's also nice to have a second one for use inside to reach items in the top of closets, and as a "back-up" in case I ever need it for outdoor use. This is a really fantastic product.
LOVE these so much I am so short and if no one is around I can't reach anything on the top shelves and these are great to have, love the two pack I have one in each closet so i can always reach stuff!
We haven't had these grab sticks long enough to tell how durable they are, and whether they will hold up better than the last one's (grabbits) did, but the folding/ locking mechanism seems to be better designed. As for normal grabbing functions, they work fine.
These grabbers are great. They are so good that I had to order another 2-pack. I found I needed for one in my SUV, one for my kitchen, one for my living area and one to move around as needed. I had another brand grabber before this that had a henge. The henge broke. These grabbers have no henge, which makes them sturdier.
