It's nice to finally find a pill delivery system that covers 5 doses a day instead of the typical 4 ... The only suggestion I have that would make this better is to make the compartments bigger so that it could hold larger size pills & Vitamins as well as be a little easier for elderly people with arthritic hands to handle. I purchased this for my mother and it's right on the verge of being too small for her hands and there are 4 supplements that will not fit. Other than that, I love the clearly marked containers for each day of the week ... I love that it's numbered 1 to 5 instead of Morning, Noon, afternoon ... because retired elderly people don't always have the same wake / sleep schedule as everyone else and the numeric system keeps things from getting confusing. Thank you for designing a 5 times a day system :-)
I ordered this product twice because it is so convenient for my wife who has Parkinson's. I ended up ordering two of these organizers because she actually takes pills seven times a day and as you see it only has slots for five times aday. I would have given 5 stars if it had more than 5 slots per day and if it had a place for time of each dose, in other words what time is dose 1,2,3,etc.
What I especially like about this pill organizer is my wife was using the large plastic tray type organizers like you get at CVS or Walgreens, they were way to big to fit in her purse and way to often if she dropped the old pill organizer pills went everywhere. With this type of organizer the pouch and plastic compartments fit easily in her purse and no worries of pills going everywhere since the pouch would contain them if she did drop the pill organizer. We got around the doses not having the time taken by putting a stick on file label on the back of each of the seven plastic trays and writing the time of each dose. I do recommend this product despite the minor gripes.
Although the compartments are large enough to hold, for example, two large and two medium to small pills, the whole pack is very compact. I take care of my mother's multiple medications, and we were using the 28-compartment (4 a day, 7 day) tray and an additional tray for the fifth dose. If she happened to drop it, the whole tray would pop open and pills would go everywhere. I made a little sleeve that fits over one of these 5-dose trays that she just pinches from the bottom to slide the tray out to the next dose, so even if she drops it, the sleeve keeps the lids closed. She can keep it in her pocket because it's quite compact yet holds all the pills she needs to take. We are both quite happy with this product.
This is nice and compact yet large enough for all of our family members medicine. What is nice is that this has compartments for 5 doses a day. This was hard to find. I like that you can remove a day or more if you are going to be out overnight and do not want to bring all of your medicine. Each individual days case is small enough to fit in a pocket or to toss in your purse. This works so well that we bought a second one so that we can have a week filled so that it is easy to start again once the last day and dose are taken.
I bought this to store pills in while traveling. I found it so useful, I use it daily around the house. 5 compartments per day, deep enough to hold 3 'horse pill' sized vitamins in each. Soft sided case is durable and quiet (I don't like to hear things rattle around - just a pet peeve of mine). I think I'll get a second one so I can pre-fill 2 weeks worth of pills. I can't think of a single reason you would not be happy with this product.

Love this pill box! Mom has to take medication 5 times a day. Most pill boxes are only for 4 times a day AND have a particular time written on them. When the doctor makes a change to her timing there is nothing written on the box to confuse Mom. For convenience, I like to set out Mom's pills a week at a time which I am able to do with this pill box. However...If we are going to be out for the day, it is so easy to grab the appropriate day and put it in my purse. I hesitated purchasing this item because of the price, but now I am so glad I did. Makes our lives simpler.
I like the concept of one pill organizer per day for each of the 5 times per day that I need to take both OTC and RX pills and capsules. And having the organizers fit into a travel case is fantastic. Unfortunately, the organizer really is not a "Large Capacity" solution. I still need a solution mainly for the days we are in transit to and from cruises, tours, family visits, etc. Therefore, I kept the travel case. I found that I could put four Walgreen's weekly pill organizers it it. I use Sun for my 8 am pills, Mon and Tues for my 10 am pills, Wed from my 2 pm pills, etc. I would hope that there is a follow on product with a larger capacity.
This pill organizer is amazing! I dispense all my mother's medications which she takes 5 times a day. I used my P-Touch labeler to attach the times over the numbers 1 through 5. Makes it a lot easier for her to know when to take the pills. I also used the labeler to spell out the entire day for the side. Another nice thing about this organizer is the way I can just give her the correct case for each day and not have her confused about what day it is and her taking pills from another day...I have peace of mind and she doesn't have to worry. Also nice to just grab the correct day's pill case when out for a couple of hours at a doctor appointment or errands. Much more convenient than taking a large organizer!
It's too expensive for what it is: 7 separate plastic pill boxes. The very well-made cloth cover is truly overkill. But I needed the 5th slot and so I got it. The pill slots are slightly small than my original 4-slot case, but because I can divide up the pills more, it works.
my new favorite "go to" container. very few on the market have 5x a day medication containers. and i love the carry case. Helps keep the hubs organized when i send him out of town for a couple of weeks.
