I got these to see if they would feel better on my feet then my usually socks since my feet are swollen, they seem to work well, they are very comfty to wear. They feel nice and smooth on my feet.

The L/XL size fits my ladies size 11wide/ mens size 9.5-10 feet perfectly. The socks have very firm compression over my 17" calves but they do cover the entire calf all the way to the knee (which is really rare for me to find as I am 5' 8"- 5' 9"). I shopped around and this 6-pack seems to be an excellent value for compression socks. The heavy-weight nylon knit appears to be sturdy and not thin like ladies tights or nylon hosiery, but more like a mens dress sock weight. If you're used to heavy cushioned athletic socks then these will feel thin, but they will fit into all my business casual ladies leather work shoes (yay!). Each pair of socks is individually wrapped in its own plastic bag inside a larger Ziploc plastic bag. One odd thing--the first pair I pulled out of the package was labeled the same as all the others but is obviously the smaller size, so I'll have to give that one away.

Before wearing I washed the compression socks with a mild detergent in luke warm water and let them dry naturally. They fit nicely for my feet and legs. My feet and lower legs did not hurt while wearing these. These are nice quality compression socks. I will be getting more.
