CliC Long Adjustable Front Connect Ready Reader, Black Long, 1.75

Love the glasses - I had cataract surgery on both eyes and had both of my natural lenses replaced with artificial lenses. Both artificial lenses were for distance so I will need reading glasses the rest of my life. I'm also disabled and don't get around very well and often found myself leaving my glasses behind in another room, requiring another trip to go back and get them. So to have these hanging around my neck all the time is a godsend. I would never do that with my prescription glasses because they were too heavy and uncomfortable. These are so light that I constantly have to check to make sure I remembered to put them back on after changing shirts, etc. I bought the "long" version which allows you to lengthen or shorten the temples by sliding the stems in or out of the neck strap and securing the location using a small set screw on each side to anchor them once their adjusted. I bought this version after reading many reviews saying the non adjustable versions only fit people with real small heads. My hat size is 7½ but found these fit me best without any lengthening and could/should have bought the non adjustable version, which I will when I order my next pair and, oh yes, I will be ordering another pair, probably in different color or frame style just so I will be able to change looks when I want. They seem unbreakable. They use good materials and have excellent lenses. I only gave this style a 4 star rating because I had some trouble getting the set screw on one side to stay set. Finally was able to tighten it enough and it has been holding for quite a while now. You will get a lot of comments from people when they see them hanging around your neck like " hey, do you know you're glasses are broken?" They take just a little practice putting them into reading mode at first but you get the hang of it pretty quickly and the payoff is absolutely worth it. Actually look forward to hearing the "clic" (how they got their name) when they come together. The magnets are strong rare earth magnets, which are very expensive, and are the reason these type of reading glasses cost more than regular reading glasses. Great glasses, worth every penny! Recommend these highly.

These glasses have both positive and negative aspects.

On the positive side, when I do not want to actively use them to read, I can simply open them up, pivot the lenses so they are in-line with the arms of the glasses, and let them dangle from the back loop of the glasses arms and hang on my chest. They stay put very well when I'm wearing them. The glass quality is high, and I can see very clearly through them. My lady wears them sometimes and enjoys them as well.

On the negative side, when you take them off they take up a huge amount of real estate because the loop that goes around back is not very flexible. I cannot simply lay these on my night stand, but instead have had to find a new place to put them overnight because of their size. One other small complaint is that when you lean your head back in your La-Z-Boy recliner to read a book in comfort, the loop at the back of the glasses pushes the lens area forward.

Overall, I like them and will continue to use them. In time, I may even buy another pair.

With the CliC glasses (at least for me anyway) you have to get the right fit "width-wise" in-order-for the glasses not to move around on your face when you turn your head. I have two pair (clear and black) and love them both. The clear ones are the perfect focal length, but a little on the wide side for my face, which feels perfect until I turn my head - then they kinda go "lop-sided" on my face (even if adjust the head-band length)... The black ones are closer to perfect all around because they have a narrower fit for my face making them stay in place better when I turn my head; however, the focal length is "a little" short making me have to get closer to what I'm reading... I'm sure once I find the right width and focal length combination, I will have found the perfect reading glasses...

I don't believe these are 1.75, at least the ones I received. In comparison to several pairs of Walmart/Costco type 1.75 readers that I own, these are weaker and are not doing the job for me.
I am in healthcare, and will say I like the design for working 12 hour shifts where the glasses are constantly coming on/off; these obviously don't fall off your face and not easy to lose.

My husband can't live with out these, wound up getting a second pair. Very light weight yet sturdy and made well. You forget your wearing them around your neck, and convenient to quickly take them on or off. Don't hang to low and get in the way when bending over to do other things if not using them on your eyes. My husband more often forgets he has them on. Highly recommend.

Once a person get's used to the "Oh no! I must be getting old!" dogma of wearing glasses around their neck full time, these things are great! I've purchased them for myself (3 pair) and siblings and they're great for all usage. They easily adjust to your head size (sides slide forward and back). My only suggestion would be to make them available in more colors.

These glasses have been great. I work in a shop with handtools, and a pair of reading glasses don't last long. In addition, the grandchildren love eyeglasses but often break them playing with them.
Since these "break" on the nosepiece, they'll give way before actually breaking. The kids can play with them, and a bang with a tool doesn't hurt them.
Eventually they do break, but I usually get about a year's worth of everyday use out of them.
Plus they're cool as heck! People are fascinated with them.

The fact that they're always where and when I need them. No more falling out of my pocket bending over. No falling off my head. No storage issues.
These are apart of my daily life safely fitted around my neck. Fabulous.

This is probably the 8th pair I've purchased. These are so great, I should start selling them. Everyone loves them. I bought a pair for my husband and then he wanted a second pair, one for dress and one for yard work. Then my cousin saw them and he wanted 2 pair. His car caught on fire and burnt up both pair. He immediately called me and had me order him 2 more. Then something else happened and he asked me to order 2 more pair last week. These guys LOVE these glasses and get a kick out of all of the compliments they get from other guys. I love them when I'm sewing. Buy a pair or 2, you won't be sorry and Amazon delivers so fast, it's almost unbelievable.

Bought these for my Husband because he does a lot of work out in the garage. Says he loves them because he doesn't have to worry about them falling off and braking no matter what he is doing. Am thinking about getting him a second pair for when he does project in the house.
