I've been a type I diabetic for 30 years, so I always need to carry glucose with me. I've never really liked the chalky tablets, which I used to have to take by the handful for low blood sugar. But the 15 grams of glucose in these Transcend packets are just right. The small size is convenient to fit in any pocket discretely. The tear top is easy enough to open when I'm shaking from hypoglycemia. And the best part is, they taste pretty good--Strawberry. I will continue to buy these as long as they are affordable.

I bought these for my husband who is a runner and is also a T1 diabetic, he carries one with him whenever he goes out. They taste pretty good, according to him, easy to carry, and they do the job. They also have a really decent shelf life so don't be afraid to stock up and keep them somewhere cool and dark. Much cheaper to buy in bulk than individually or in 3-packs from the drug store.
Purchased this item for my Type 1 diabetic daughter who experiences frequent lows. Delivery was good and as promised. The gel has a decent taste and is very convenient to keep on hands for low blood sugars. It's small and very portable to carry in a purse, backpack or gym bag, and you don't have to worry about spillage. It has been our experience that it doesn't seem to raise a low blood sugar any faster than other types of sugar such as gummy fruit snacks or juice boxes, but the convenience of it and the fact you just have to pretty much squirt it in your mouth makes it ideal.
Good product and glad we ordered it. I guess the only negative would be it's a little pricey.

They're a little runnier than I like, which can cause a mess, but they taste good and they work! They actually have a hint of real strawberry flavor, not that weird, fakey candy strawberry taste most strawberry-flavored stuff has.
I am a diabetic and bought these to take on a golf trip to Scotland due to walking the golf courses. They definitely work well to address low glucose but the flavor is not so good which is why I gave the review 4 stars.

Quickly raises my low blood sugars. Easy to carry, but need to be careful when tearing it open.
