With four wisdom teeth coming out on the same day, you have to have this! The dentist gives you one small blob gel pack to put on your jaw for 20 mins then pop back into the freezer, refreeze and repeat...what a dental racket, you pay $$$$ for the wisdom teeth removal and they give you a 10cent piece of crap. Go buy this and save your kids from misery. It comes with 4 gel packs so you have another set waiting in the freezer. My daughter used it all the time for the first 48 hours. It was a life saver. She was happy and did not bruise or suffer from too much swelling. When she went back to the dentist he was surprised that she had no pockets! No kidding, she was actually healing faster than most. The wrap is washable!
I work in the dental field and many of my dental patients have trouble with their TMJ. I too sometimes have trouble. I saw this product and thought I would give it a try. Works great, the gel packs don't freeze solid which is great to conform to your face. Gave me relief. I will definitely recommend Cool Jaw to my patients. Product was shipped on a timely basis. Great product!
I have been having problems with TMJ and decided to try Cool Jaw's wrap with 4 blue gel packs. This product is WONDERFUL! My doctor recommended that I use ice packs on my face for about 10-15 mins and then apply heat after doing facial stretches. The reusable, blue gel packs can be frozen or heated. An added bonus is that the gel packs don't freeze solid; so they easily conform to my jaw line in the wrap for a snug, but not too cold, fit. I've kept 2 in the freezer and 2 on the counter for quick heating in the microwave. The gel packs work beautifully! The super-comfy head wrap keeps the gel packs in place while I'm on the computer, watching TV, and just going about my day. I've been able to follow my doctor's recommendations without putting my life on hold! I will definitely be ordering more.
I bought this face wrap for when I had double jaw surgery with expansion and pulling both jaws forward. The ice packs worked wonderfully! I used them right away post surgery, through my hospital stay, and a month later am still using them for pain. My only complaint is that the wrap is white and becomes quite stained. I highly recommend this product for anyone having maxillofacial double jaw surgery. I wish I would have bought it for my wisdom teeth because of how how tight fitting it is and how well it ices the area.
it worked well when i had tmj problems at the worst. after wearing it you do look like a bery sick person like you just had a head surgery or soemthing. it does help i will recommend it will help

I had some surgery on my face and these worked great to hold cold packs in place against my face.
If I could give it a 4.5 instead of a 4, I would. It can cause a bit of pain as it presses on the sore joint while cooling it. That said, I'm a lot more likely to ice my sore TMJ's since getting this product. I can actually get something done while icing! Also, this product has been just as effective as an ice wrap for sore feet and knees.
Love this wrap for my tmj! You get 4 ice packs and it holds 2 at a time. I freeze all of mine and they last about 35 minutes being very cold. It is so nice to have the ice conform to my jaw and not have to hold it. It's helping so much with my headpressure and all tmj symptoms!
I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed and needed something to help keep the swelling and inflammation at bay. This product fit well and I was still able to have my hands free. I would have given it 5 stars if they would have supplied more "freezer" packets as it takes awhile to really chill the inserts.
Don't depend on the dentist to assist you with healing. This is a must after oral surgery. You won't get anything this good from your dentist. Think ahead and prepare yourself. This wrap was a real life saver for me!
