Fits wide feet and works great to relieve pain in hard to ice spots. My feet are size 9W and there is no problem at all with this fitting around my foot. The cold pack, when frozen, remains pliable and can curve around the outer edge of my foot to ice both the top and bottom of my foot where I have pain. I only wish there was a way to purchase additional packs to have them as backup in the freezer. No problem with it getting or staying cold enough.
Bought two of these after a recent Ankle sprain, one for work and one for home.I have been using them daily for two weeks and store them in the freezer. They have been a godsend! The Ice pack wraps around 3/4 of my ankle and the elastic strap allows for easy securing in a nice tight and compressing fashion. The Ice pack gets really cold, and stays flexible which makes it easy to position around the injury.
The Ice pack was a little hard to get into the cover at first, but I was able to fold down the corners and get it to fit inside. No problems since.
It stays cool for 20-35 minutes in my 70 degree office. I threw away my 'pea' style physical therapy packs as this is a far superior product for staying cold and staying in place.
I'm a Physical Therapy Asst. and this has been a hit with my clients! I love it because it is convenient to carry. You have to be careful when heating because you can explode the pack if you heat it more than 10 sec increments (learned the hard way). I just use it for ice now. But it's still a nice pack.
This is life changing! I can ice my plantar faciitis (it is tight around my foot with my high arch, but does fit) and then ice my toes on the other feet! I LOVE it!
Having said that, the ice pack that comes with this is useless. I threw it out. It stays cold for maybe 2 min. I use my own ice pack that I used to hold on my feet with duct tape. But that's a waste of duct tape.
The velcro strap though is worth the $10. It's very well made and holds my ice pack wherever I want it on my foot.
It was wonderful until I put it away and my kids used it for something else and lost it. I just bought 2 more because it made such a difference. I'm trying a different brand in hopes that maybe the ice pack will be a little less....useless on another one.
I love, love this product!!! I have plantar fascitis in both feet and when I come home from work my feet feel like they are on fire!! I can sit on the couch with this wrapped around my foot instead of having to lay in bed holding a big ice bag on my feet!! The lil gel pack is velcroed to the holder so you just unattached it and put in the freezer. It takes no room at all!!! I think I am going to order another one just so I can do my feet at the same time!!

I have plantars fasciitis in my left foot. I use this twice a day. It is wonderful. All I do is put ithe insert into the freezer and when it's ready I put it into the wrap and wrap it around my foot. Now I sit or even lay down too. It's perfect.
I bought two of these to use to ice the bottom of my feet to help with plantar fasciitis and they were great. The come out of the freezer ice cold, obviously, and the first minute or two are tough to deal with on your feet because it is so cold, but you eventually get used to it and can get a good icing in. The ice pack is pretty flexible so you can bend it around things, and the strap is flexible so you can make it work in a number of different positions. I didn't use them for any other part of my body, but they have come in handy for when our 2yr old bangs his head on something, for example, and we can put some ice on the spot that hurts. My plantar has mostly gone away, and while I think it was a combo of things that did it, icing with this was certainly a big part of it!
These are a must for anyone with Plantars. This is my first experience with plantars. I was using a frozen water bottle but these are so much better. They last about 30-40 minutes and stick firmly to the wrap with the velcro strips. You can wrap your foot or wrist firmly so that it stays in place. I think these would be great for other injuries as well but have only used for the foot at this point. Since I have only one foot affected, I can rotate them and place one back in the freezer while I use the other. Very pleased with this product.
I wasnt sure what to expect when buying this. I have plantar fasciitis and every now and then it flares up and becomes atrocious to deal with (especially when I get new shoes) and lately its been so bad, I have become rather desperate, despite stretching and massaging my right foot often, it still feels like its on fire and painful.
This ice pack however, seems to be what I needed (along with getting new shoe inserts) It gets really cold and stays cold for quite a while. Ive been taking it on and off for over 30 minutes now and its still icy. And for the first time in a while, feeling some relief in my foot.
The fabric is thick but soft and of good quality. Velcro stays very well and the ice pack is removable for easy washing or to place the pack in the freezer separately. Wraps around and secures to the foot or limb easy as well and stays cold for a while.
I have been dealing with Plantar Fasciitis for the past few months and was searching for just about anything for pain relief. The doctor recommended applying ice to the bottom of my foot but I found it awkward to keep a typical ice bag in place. This popped up when I searched for plantar fasciitis and I am so glad I ordered it. It is very simple to use and the strap velcro holds the ice pack comfortably in place.
I think this would also be helpful for other injuries such as an ankle or wrist injury that would get some pain relief from applying ice.
