These bracelets work, just not as long as the package says it will. We found putting on a fresh one each 2 days meant we didnt need any repellant of any kind other than the bracelet. After 2 days, however, it doesn't work as well. I would reccomend if you want to stay away from chemical repellants. Great alternative.

These do well to ward off mosquitoes, but they are too short to put on your ankle comfortably or on a man's large wrist. You need one on each leg and arm otherwise the skeeters just move to the other side of you. The odor is strong and not really pleasant.
Saved us on our trip. Friends had other bracelets of different brands...didnt seen as effective or long lasting as these. Scent is very notable day one as expected but fades in time while still being effective even after days in the ocean and pool.
Bought before we took a trip to Thailand. Have been here for a week and the one bite I got was on the first day when I forgot to put one one! After that I put one on and haven't gotten bit since! These things are great! The scent is not overpowering as some had said. They fit both my husband and I great! Even after getting them wet they still had their smell. We changed them out about every 2 days or so as the scent started to fade. Will definitely buy again!
Seemed to do fine when we traveled. I changed mine daily since they got wet instead of using them for as long as the package says. The smell is strong for the first few hours opened.
