I really love these heated pads. I aggravated my arthritis digging out from the recent snow and these pads made it feel a lot better. I marked it down to a “4” for two reasons. They only stay hot for 10-15 minutes, but of course they will heat right back up in another 90 seconds in the microwave. So, I normally heat them three times and have a good half hour of heat therapy. The weight of them clinging to my hands make them ever so much more effective than a plain heating pad. Secondly, I do not at all care for whatever scent of aromatherapy stuff they added. I found out later that they can be ordered unscented. Wish I would have known. My cat seems really attracted to them, however! Hoping that aroma wears off soon. I don’t have very small hands and they are plenty big enough for me. As in the picture, they go way up my arm past my wrist, which is what I needed Anyway, would definitely order them again!
I have CRPS and these are perfect for my hand. The extra weight they provide also feels good. People have complained that they don’t stay hot long enough and it would be nice if they lasted forever, but I think they stay warm-ish a reasonable amount of time ( they’re warm, not hot, for 20 min maybe).
The directions say to stack them on top of each other when you microwave them, but I think they heat up better when you do them alone. I only use one so I don’t need to heat both anyway. I really like these and they arrived right away.
I got these from my mom and she is absolutely in love with them! I can't remember what the name of her particular condition is but she's got that thing where her finger gets stuck an extended position and she can't bend it at all. These microwavable mittens soothes all of her hand pain away and she uses them every night! Highly recommended!!!
I am recovering from several broken fingers. My PT and Doctor have said it's very important to maintain heat in order to get better bending/stretching ability. Heating pad is ridiculously big, not to mention that I'm tethered to a cable. These mitts are just what I need. They work exactly as described. Maintain heat nicely. Great investment.
Here’s what I like. These are filled with sand, or gravel or some sort of pebble thing and the exterior is cloth so it doesn’t sweat and there is not need to wrap them in a dish towel to minimize the extreme cool because its fabric. I have arthritis in my hands and I have worn them watching TV and Ive even tucked them behind my low back for low back pain and its nice to not have issues of the ice pack sweating and making everything a damp mess.

Feature Product
- Kozy Mittens are channeled top and bottom providing moist heat or cold to the entire hand and up to the wrist .The Kozy Mittens warmed from the microwave will help relieve the pain associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis,RA, Reynolds Syndrome, relax stiff muscles, aid with circulation and flexibility. As an cold pack the Mittens will help reduce swelling and ease pain.
- Simple, quick and easy to use! For a pair of mittens just microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes, for a single mitt 45 seconds to 1 minute should do the trick. Adjust heating as needed 30 seconds more or less. For cold mittens should be stored in a closed container (a plastic bag is fine ) and stored in the freezer. Also because the freezer adds a little moisture so when heated the mitts will have a moist feel to them but you may mist with water before heating to get the desired level of moist heat.
- A single mitt weights about 1.5 pounds. The weight helps deliver a penetrating deep heat effect. The heat lasts about 10 - 15 minutes, and if you would like the heat to stay warmer longer we recommend that once they are on your hands you simply wrap a hand towel or like around the mittens proving insulation.
- Can be used with paraffin dips (plastic bag on my hand after dip in hot wax) BUT a lot of customers tell us that these mitts are so nice and toasty that they can use them without the mess and extra work of the dip.
- Listing is for a pair of mittens. The mittens do not have individual thumb or finger holes, the whole hand fits inside hole opening. The mittens are filled with rice.

I didn't think these would be as good as they are. A must for anyone with arthritis of their hands. Highly recommended
I have tendonitis in my wrist/thumb. Part of my PT includes heat compressing the area for 15 minutes, doing exercises to strengthen and steetch, and then icing down for 20 minutes after.
This pair of mittens is perfect!
I put one in the microwave, the other in the freezer.
I’d have given 5 stars, except, as others have noted, the heat/cool doesn’t last very long at all (about 10 minutes with the heat, about 15 minutes with the cool). They’re fine for what I’m using them for, though.
I used this today for the first time, and I think it is going to help me.
I have RA and my hands get cold and ache. It’s very painful. I heated both gloves and used them for about 20 minutes.
My hands are warm and not nearly as painful. I plan to use these multiple times a day, to stay ahead of severe pain.
These do what they are supposed to do. They hold their heat for a very long time! I would say I have medium sized hands and they fit great, maybe even a little loose. My husband used them once and really had to squeeze to get his hands in! I haven't tried but I'm pretty sure you can probably even use these on your feet if you have small enough feet. I have also used them as hot pads for my back.
Great for ten minutes of cooking down the hands. Looses coolness quickly. Comfortable. I'm a massage practitioner and this is a good way to rest the hands after a double shift. Great tool for maintaining longevity.
Probably better products out there but this does the job for me. It's not so cold that it's uncomfortable but it does get warm quickly compared to gels.
