These have the full coverage needed to treat amblyopia, they are easier on the skin if removed at least 6 hours after put on. Teacher put it on my son's opposite eye one day, so when he got home we took it off, he cried because it hurt his skin. BUT when he wears it for the full 6 hours, he has no trouble taking it off, yet it doesn't just come off on it's own. If you want to treat amblyopia for real, These I definitely recommend...

Patching tip: From my clinical experience I have witnessed a small percentage of kids develop some mild skin irritation after wearing any type of adhesive eye patch after a couple of hours. If this occurs, we recommend to apply some Milk of Magnesia around the eye which is being patched and let dry before applying the patch.
