I had hip replacement surgery and the walker that I got through insurance was really an indoor walker. My kids were embarrassed to walk with me since I quickly wore down the rubber back-side tips so that I was screeching metal on concrete when I would walk outside. These replacements fit perfectly and were much more functional. Good value too.

These are better than skis or the original gliders on a new walker. Skis tend to collect dirt. The auto glides roll smoothly but lock in place when you apply pressure to the walker handles. They really help stabilize the walker when getting up from a seated position. They help keep the walker from slipping out from underneath you when walking down an incline. I have found them to be very helpful. It's a great product.
These make a huge difference in the smoothness of the function of my walker. They are already wearing down, so I will soon reorder them.

My husband uses these on his walker and it is a great improvement from the old tennis balls. He has two kinds of guides now and they do a good job on his upstairs and downstairs walkers.

These glides are tough. My mother-in-law has used several other brands, but that had a tendency to stick or grab after only a few weeks. These could last a long time.
Excellent product for a reasonable price. Fast shipping and well made for its purpose. Highly recommend it for walkers. Much safer than the tennis balls or gliders. Five stars
Much safer then the tennis balls. When it is leaned on it stops automactically where as the balls can keep rolling which could be a safety problem. A little harder to roll on carpet but not enough to make a difference for my 90 year old mom with extreme back problems and hip surgery.
This is my second set. I use my walker 95% of the time and find these ball-type glides do better on any surface from asphalt & cement to my carpet. They last with constant use just over one year. I want to add that no seller packs anything shipped as well as pharmapacks. At least for items I bought. They always use a package of their own design that protects products like no other -- even better than the familiar USPS priority packages.
Best glides I’ve had so far. Doesn’t sound like a garbage disposal when walking over rough concrete or asphalt. How well they hold up under heavy use is an issue to be resolved when I go on vacation. I’ve ordered a second set as a backup.
