This hot water bottle arrived in a timely manner. It was not damaged in shipping. It came just as expected and pictured. The fleece cover is very soft and I think the design is fun. The plastic of the water bottle does not have an unpleasant chemical smell. This water bottle stayed warm for 6 hours with the cover on. The cover does keep it from feeling hot to the touch, only warm. But if you take the cover off because you want it to feel hot it will only stay hot for 1 hour and warm for 3 hours. This worked extremely well at the foot of my bed, under the blankets, to keep my feet warm ALL night. I would recommend this product to a friend. I am pleased with my purchase.
The lovely snowy white covering over the water bottle is soft to the touch. However, it is not removable for cleaning. The bottle and cover contain a gentle scent of natural vanilla. On my first and second practice with filling the bottle 2/3rds full with hot tap water, the neck of the non-removable fleece cover easily absorbed like a sponge the tap water that was slowly/carefully poured into the bottle, and this wet transfered from the fleece cover to whatever it rested on, making for a source of dampness/cold. Soon, though, I found an easy way to avoid this by folding the neck of the cover away from the neck of the bottle while filling, using a 2 cup measure instead of pouring water directly from the tap. Now it is working beautifully. The heat from tap water allows for warmth more than heat at point of contact. This is a well made hot water bottle, with 'fun' in its functioning design.
It’s definitely pricey but I love the smell and the quality. Is very cozy.

Liked it because it is not leaking. I had two hot water bottles and after two weeks they started to leak.
Love it! Keeps hot tap water hot for up to 4 hours under the blankets and stays pretty warm for about another 3-4 hours for me. Lasts all night next to my hip or back. The fleece keeps you from burning yourself and nothing thick needs to between you and the heat. Absolutely no rubber or other odor. Great spout and easy fill. Much better than my electric heating pad and microwave heated: clay pads, lavender + neck roll, blue gel and blue gel bead pads all put together.
I should have tried this long ago, but I'm glad I found this type now with cover and 2 yr leak warranty. It is worth the price. They have other designs but I like the white llama.
My favorite things about this hot water bottle are that it’s eco friendly, it has no smell, and the cover is soft and cute. I used hot tap water from my sink because it says not to use boiling water. It feels nice and warm, similar to a level 2 out of 4 hotness of a heating pad. The only part I had trouble with was getting the cover on the hot water bottle once it was full. The only way to do it is to put the cover on while it’s empty and then fill it up. I actually like using it without the cover as it is much warmer that way. The rubber of this bottle is so much better than the cheaper Hometop brand. It’s definitely worth the extra money for a good quality product.
