I bought this set of 3 reading glasses based on the Amazon reviews here. I usually go through so many a year. Most common problems are: lens fall out, nose piece break off, hinge screw come off, frame bends out of shape, frame snap above lens or on stress area of plastic frame etc. I had them all. So far, these are holding up quite well. The frame hinge is pretty flexible and always return back to factory setting. The come with a microfiber bag to hold and also use to wipe the lens. I liked them so much, that I ordered another set as I already lost one. It's worth it to spend slightly more than the $5 ones. Now my only problem is losing these. 5 STARS!
Update: I received a email from the sellers about how I liked my reading glasses. So far they are holding up very well. They stay on my head well and it's good to keep them in the silky pouch to prevent scratches. I must have purchased about a dozen of these and seem like I only have about 5 left. I mostly lose or misplace them so that's why I need a lot around and near me. I keep these in my car, my briefcase, by my bed, by my computer, my bowling bag etc. Now I know why I only have around 5. I think a 12 pack sale would be good for these or at least a 6 pack deal. I like it!!!! Still 5 STARS
The product is exactly as described, packaged very well and the quality seems to be very good for that price. Design and the material (plastic) are comfortable, so it is convenient to wear (no headache, no marks over the nose after long time of use:-).
My advice to those who is buying reading glasses online: do not save time on careful selection. Beside the optical strength, the very important thing is to check dimensions of the glasses you are about to order online. From my experince, to fit well you have to make sure that at least the following most important dimensions are right for you:
- frame width
- nose bridge
- temple (arm) length
Carefully measure these dimensions on your existing glasses that fit well (better in millimeters for more granularity, you can easily convert them to inches later) and then look at the description of glasses online. If the description fails to provide precise measurements, do not bother with such glasses. You will be rewarded later by not returning the glasses and not feeling uncomfortable.

What a difference! Don't waste your money on those cheap department store reading glasses. I could not believe the clarity and purity of the lenses. They are a bit heavier than most BUT the quality is well worth the sacrifice of a tiny bit of weight. They are very well built. I am hard on my glasses so we will see how well they hold up but so far so good. The company was in constant contact with me during the entire ordering process via email and I really appreciated that. You will NOT be disappointed if you buy these glasses. Oh yeah, they also come with little pull string microfiber bags.
now at the age for the need for readers. purchased a few pair from the local drug store. most of them sucked and were cheap. decided to purchase these after reading some of the reviews. very glad i did. these are nice, clear, good quality, readers. they fit my face just fine and are comfortable. originally purchased a 3 pack thinking that would be plenty. well, after having a pair in my car, my truck, my kitchen. i have now re-ordered another 4 pack. they are so reasonably priced i could not resist. at this point you can never have too many readers laying around! thank you!

Being a mid-aged adult, my reading vision is getting worse. I don't need full-time glasses, but do for reading things and when on-screen. My reading glasses must be able to cling to my head or around my neck when I pull them off. I need to be able to put them on with one hand. They have to take a beating when in my pocket and around my t-shirt collar. These glasses are robust and wear well. A couple of times I've crunched them and thought, "Well, that's it, they're broken!" Not the case. I will buy another set when I need them. I've used other glasses that cost $39 that were great, but these are just as good, if not better.
Unexpectedly sturdy! We have a one year old and two and a half year old who love to pull the reading glasses off daddy's face. That often means they are dropped, stretched, smashed and anything else little one's can do to glasses and they've still held up. I wear them while doing woodwork and have them shoved in my pockets which are filled at times with other stuff. I'm still on my first pair several months later and the lenses aren't scratched and the frames aren't bent. These have received plenty of abuse and they still look like they came out of the box. I'm very pleased with these glasses and will definitely purchase again (if and when I need to)!

I've been wearing my first pair of glasses for a few months now, and their still good as new. I'm surprised they haven't scratched yet. Considering I've dropped them a hand full of time's. I used to go through a new pair of glasses once a month. If I was careful maby 2months. Eventually the arms on the readers would wear out & break. These readers have bendable arms. Makes a world of difference
These reading glasses are not very stylish but they work well. They are a little bigger than expected but not too bad for a man's head and not bad if you prefer slightly larger readers. The lenses are nice and clear and customer service is excellent. The frame is a little bulky and looks kind of cheap to me so that's why a less than 5 star rating.
