I have been plagued with eye strain, fatigue, and chronic dry eye. Read in a medical newsletter a report on the effects of the blue spectrum of light emitted from computer, tablet, TV screens, and LED lighting. Additional research on the subject supported the newsletter report. Spending many hours on a computer and tablet I decide to try a pair of computer blue filter glasses. Within days of wearing the TruVision Black Computer Readers 1.5 power I noticed a great reduction of my eye problems. Additional features of the glasses are; anti UV, anti glare, and anti reflection. The quality of the glasses is excellent, comfortable to wear, stylish design, and priced right. I am considering purchasing additional pairs for backup and traveling.
These glasses are helpful in reducing eye strain caused by certain bands of light produced by computer monitors. I can definitely tell that it blocks out certain colors since there is a slight color change in my vision when I put these on. It's a good price for having two pairs to use at work and home.
I have to say, these glasses are extremely hard to keep clean. Between these glasses, my sunglasses, and my prescription glasses, these glasses are the fastest to get smudges and take considerably more effort to wipe clean.
With the same comparison base, these glasses are also the least comfortable to wear long-term. They cause my ears to hurt where they sit and it takes a few days of not wearing them to feel better. Of course, that's not too uncommon with generically-sized glasses, but it's something to consider when purchasing.
As my eyes have gotten worse over the years the eye strain from checking my phone first thing in the morning for emails and messages has become a problem. I tried eye drops, dimming the screen but nothing seemed to work. I bought a pair of blue light blocking glasses and while they helped I had to stack them over my reading glasses which is not always convenient because they weren't made to be stacked. Luckily I found these glasses and they work wonders! Not only do they work as advertised, by relieving eye strain, they're also readers so no more stacking glasses! I do appreciate that it comes as a 2-pack so you can take one to work and leave the other pair at home. I usually use a larger size frame but these are still comfortable. I had priced other blue light blocking readers and they were around $80-$120 so these were a steal.
I wear contacts but have really bad astigmatism in both eyes which means everything is slightly blurry for me compared to how it would look for someone with my prescription that doesn’t have astigmatism. (I can’t stand the toric lenses, so I just kind of deal with it.) I am a web developer, so my day to day involves hours on end of staring at my laptop screen and I began feeling the strain from that and set out to buy some blue light blocking glasses. I had the idea while searching to try a super low magnification just to see how it would affect the previously mentioned blurriness. The available selection of readers with +0.5 magnification that also have the anti-blue light coating for people who stare at a computer screen all day like myself is VERY limited. I have searched multiple sites and even eBay and it seems hardly anyone makes them in such a low magnification. I bought these as well as the more expensive Prospekt Spektors here on Amazon and these were the winners. I have since purchased two additional sets for the convenience of being able to leave a pair wherever I may need one. They are not what anyone could call especially stylish, and neither are the Spektors, but they win on quality. The coating on the Spektors scratched literally the first day. The first pair of these TruVision readers I put on is still scratch free. (No, I did not use any sort of cleaning solution, just those über soft microfiber lens cleaning cloths made for glasses.) I will continue to purchase these as needed, but would LOVE to see some stylish and colorful frame options in +0.5 magnification that include the anti-blue light coating! Regardless of the lack of stylishness, these get 5 stars. (And they totally worked in removing that blurriness I was talking about too!)
This product is wonderful. If you are like me and started to have headaches after only an hour or so on the computer, these will take care of it. I don't otherwise wear any glasses, it was just the computer where my eyes gave me trouble. However my husband wears contacts and he still wore these glasses since they don't interfere with his prescription. I am a teacher and being on the computer is part of my job, but this year in my thirties, I began to have headaches and dizziness trying to stare at my screen. These glasses filter out the blue light that causes that. As soon as I put them on, the tightness across my forehead eased, since my eyes could finally relax. I am now able to work on my computer for hours at a time and not suffer any symptoms.

General Fatigue
With our new advanced technology these Computer Glasses have an almost invisible, slightly blue, tint which protects your eyes from the harmful effects of UV rays, blue light, glare, and reflections of computer and all other electronic screens.
The glasses are well made and sturdy. The lenses have reduced my eye strain while working on the computer significantly. The design is good and delivered well packaged. One of the pairs had a scratch on one of the lenses but didn't interfere with my vision at all. I didn't want to reach to bother vendor because it wasn't a big deal to me. The vendor reached to me to follow up on the glasses and I briefly mentioned about the scratch. They mailed me a replacement right away. This is great customer service and I highly recommend them.
I work with a triple-monitor setup at work for comparing spreadsheets/ data sets and the eye-strain was killing me at the end of the day/week. I was desperate enough to try buying these and they actually work. A huge win! The two-in-one is nice but the white frames are actually a clear plastic painted white (not well). It's not a glaring issue but it does make the frames seem to be a 3 out of 5 for quality.
I have been blessed with 20/10 vision my entire life. In the past few years I've noticed that my eyes are very tired and dry after staring at 2 monitors all day at work. I have taken the advice of my optometrist to walk away at least once an hour to give my eyes rest, but alas, even that stopped working. I purchased two pairs of the 0.00 magnification glasses. One to wear at work, and one to wear when I play video games or work from home. I have not been disappointed at all. As a non-glasses wearer, it took me a little bit of time to adjust to wearing these, but my eyes are thanking me 100 fold. Bonus: My girlfriend thinks I look good in glasses. ;-)
Excellent! I wanted some inexpensive readers around the house and spent extra for these anti blue/anti glare glasses. The lenses are pretty good quality and there's no distortion at all. I'm more impressed with these glasses than my expensive prescription glasses where I had to pay an extra $30 for the anti blue/glare. Will be ordering a few more for sure!
I notice an undeniable difference between these and normal reading glasses. My eyes do not dry out or fatigue as quickly when I am wearing these, compared to the cheap drugstore readers, especially when my eyes are on a screen. These are very well made and well worth the price. I have also been in contact with the sellers, who are extremely courteous and eager to please (even though I had no problems whatsoever with the glasses or the transaction). Happy to support a small business via Amazon. My hope is that TruVision will also produce other styles, especially rimless computer reading glasses.
