I bought these because my nails are lifting from the nails beds as a side effect of chemotherapy. As a result I wasn't able to do anything like put on my clothes without being scared of damaging my nails even further, the doctors said wear bandaids with neosporin but it's a hassle to change them every hour and buy them over and over and make sure you apply them correctly. But with these finger guards all you have to do is apply neosporin and even tea tree oil to your fingers and slide these on. They stay on your fingers until you take them off and hold the shape after you hand wash them and lay them flat to dry. They really have made this more comfortable for me, my doctor even said they are better than walking around with bandaids. They are also great for chemo patients who finger tips get cold during chemo as a side effect. I took a picture next to a crayon so you could get the idea of length and the finger guard on bottom is brand new never worn the one on top is after washing and drying , they still fit the same as they did when I first opened the pack
These are excellent. They're better than I thought they'd be. I thought they'd be like lightweight glove fingers, like a loose-weave tshirt-type cotton. They're really more of a sort of thick fiber elastic mesh. My point is that they stay on snug and tight in the right places so as not to slip off and also not cut off circulation. They're way better than I expected. I love them! Oh, and, by the way - I wash them with the regular laundry in the washing machine! I haven't lost any yet, and they come out clean and sortof re-tightened. If you need this type of thing for any reason, these ones are awesome.
I have a very bad habit of picking\botong my cuticles and these have helped a lot!! I cut the finger glove into about three pieces so that I can still use my finger tip but keep the cuticle areas covered. If the piece is a little tight, I snip part a little vertically to loosen it up a little.
Euro Tool Cotton finger guards are the best thing I have purchased to protect my fingers. I have dry skin and my fingers tend to crack and bleed sometimes. So to touch anything at those times is painful. I can slip these cotton guards on the fingers that are chafed or cracking and be able to do all my computer work that I have to do everyday as well as drive or most any project. I keep them on as long as possible each day. Once they get dirty, I toss them into a zippered netting type bag, throw them in the washing machine with the laundry and then dry then in the clothes dryer. After using these, I even ordered more to give to a friend.
I purchased this because I have one finger with contact dermatitis that keeps cracking over and over on my knuckles. So my plan was to put some Vaseline or Neosporin on it and put the finger guard over the top of it at work. I am very pleased with the performance of these finger guards. I have long thin fingers and I can really feel these finger guards gripping onto my finger with a strong sort of elastic in them and they stay on all day.

I had an accident with a food processor blade. It has stayed sensitive since the stitches came out. It's now been two months and these work great on that finger since I still can't stand anything to touch that finger.
I bought these because I cut my right hand on the table saw. I needed some compression but sometimes not so much. Haven't had my hand cast for a very long time made me anxious. So being able just to cover the injured fingers helped. They provided enough compression to ease the pain of the scar tissue on my fingers. But not so much that it cut off the circulation. I only wish that they sold them with open tips. I cut the tips off on some of these myself but it was very difficult as I'd have to use my left hand now. If you cut them of course they unravel at the edges. Now it did protect my nail tips because my nails were falling off and it kept me from hurting my fingertips. This also helped at night when I need a little protection during the night. You can wash them if you need to without a lot of difficulty. They do last a long time. I would recommend them and will buy them again.
Small when first put on but they’re tight and they will stay. I bought others and have not had good results they slip off. If you’re battling eczema the tips of your fingers these can really help to protect. Band-Aids won’t stay on.
Probably more to do with shipping department. I will say, that I wish they were also made in another color like gray or something as of course these show dirt. Get plenty and change often. I use an old nylon sock and collect them up put them in the washer tied in the sock and they come out beautiful and clean air dry, so that adds to the longevity
I bought them for my girlfriend who suffers from dermatillomania (skin picking disorder). She picks her face and it causes small wounds all over her face.
She wear these finger guards usually especially while sleeping. These finger guards prevents her skin picking habit. Her facial wounds decreased more than 95%. So it's kind of miracle for her and us.
Thank you! ;)
I had dermatitis on my index finger so this cover made a good job to protect it. The cotton is a bit hard and there are stitches on the top. It may also not fit you if you are a guy with bigger hands. It does not get dirty easily because of texture and color (I would say 2 days)
