3M Micropore Tape 1530-1 (2 rolls) 1 x 10 yards

I bought this tape to use for mouth taping. I think its a bit too sticky for my use, but the tape itself is great. Will probably switch to a different tape for mouth taping but will keep this product for first-aid uses. It was reasonably priced and good quality.

I have very sensitive skin and am allergic to the adhesive in most medical tapes. I had surgery recently, and have had to do my own wound care at home for a month now. This (the tan colored version) was the tape that they used for me in the hospital and at my recovery center. I was sent home with a roll of it, and now ordered this when I ran out. It is still very sticky, and keeps my gauze in place. It doesn’t cause my skin to break out in rashes, and usually comes off fairly easily. I change my dressings once every 1-2 days. I only removed one star because I think the tan version of this tape does hold up better when it gets wet; I was initially to leave my tape in place while bathing, then let it air dry afterwards. When this tape gets wet, it disintegrated like toilet paper and left the adhesive behind for three days. So now I keep it covered and dry while I shower, as my wound’s not infected and just needs protection. I thought the white and tan micropore tapes were the same tape, just different colors. The tan tape also seemed to come off a bit easier. Other than that, it is one of the best tapes I’ve come across. Sometimes things aren’t perfect, but we made do with what we have, so I’ll use up this tape. If your skin gets irritated easily by tape, I’d recommend the tan colored version of this tape. I used some Johnson and Johnson’s tape while waiting for this to arrive, and my skin became itchy, red, and very angry. I’m much happier and comfortable with this tape.

it's medical tape. it does some good taping, like a good tape should. that'll do, tape. that'll do...

This works well for nose breathing overnight. You can put a long piece all the way across your mouth and it stays on. It's very sticky though. I stick it to the pillow case a couple times before my mouth. Pull it off SLOWLY in the morning. I tried fast on one occasion and it injured my lip. You can reuse the same piece two or three nights. The second time it will come off more easily and by the end of the third night it will begin to fall off by itself.

I need a medical tape with a gentle adhesive that minimizes trauma to my sensitive skin when it is removed. I've stuck with the 3M brand of paper tape because the adhesive is strong enough to secure the tape but is easily and painlessly removed. I've read mixed reviews of other brands. I’m also not allergic to this adhesive, which is nice. The micropores make the tape breathable so the texture of the skin underneath is not much affected. And the tape tears easily; no scissors needed. I also use this tape to cover my eyebrows when I epilate my face in that area. It prevents accidents. It won't pull hair out when removed. I use a coil epilator, but this might also work with wax. These rolls are 10 yards long and 1 inch wide, which is a good, all-purpose width.

I bought this product for mouth taping at night for my 10 year old. I broke out her skin and left a marks that lasted 24 hours. She may have a slight latex allergy, but this is the first time I've noticed an issue. Other than the allergic reaction, it did the job. After the first night she can now keep her Myobrace in mouth overnight.

I find it Sticks to itself and to my flesh - without developing a sensitivity to adhesive.

I needed this to tape my eye guard on after eye surgery. It sticks pretty good, without hurting your skin, but not as good as the sample from my doctor. It was delivered fast and wrapped well. Satisfied.

I like and I use for crafts (holds metal dies and paper in place temporarily).

Are use the state for all kinds of things I love it
