Oldest son (18yo) is suffering from shin splints. He uses these things religiously now. He can work out, run etc and he knows these work/fit great. We were trying to wrap other packs etc to fit. It became an almost 2 person task. These things fit perfect, he can do them alone and the cold last about an hour. Freeze time is about an hour or 2 as well. We haven't used them for heat as he uses other items for that.
Middle son (15yo) actually wrapped them around his forearm after being hit on it during batting practice.
Great concept! I hurt my fibula & these worked great! I was able to walk around while icing instead of just laying in bed with a bag of frozen peas. Lol. Amazing how nice & thin they are — I could even wear the pack under my boots if I wanted to! I wish this existed when I was younger & would get shin splints from running/dance!
I got so sick and tired of having to hold an ice pack to my shins or using the “Dixie cup ice trick” on my shins. I can easily strap these to my shins, they form around the shin, and stay on! Easy to ice for 20 mins then throw back in the freezer. Havnt used the heat feature and don’t really plan to, but as for the cold application it’s awesome. I read some reviews that the ice application wasn’t cold enough and was worried about that but that is not that case what so ever. Must buy if you have shin splints!!!
Got this for a shin injury because of the velcro strips that hold it on the leg securely. That works fine, but the cold packs only stay cold for a half hour or so. Additionally, the fabric covering the icepacks leave a rather unusual wrinkly texture on the skin. ACE makes a really good ice pack, however the ACE ice packs lack the velcro strips.
I routinely get shin splints after long runs or hard workouts. To keep them from progressing I like to ice but keeping traditional packs on and walking around is hard. These fit great, hold the cold well, and allow me to continue chores and the such while completing some self care. I will buy another pack in a few days for my fiancé. If you need to ice your shins these are for you!

These fir perfectly for tennis elbow, sprained wrists/ankles. I keep them in the cooler and use them immediately when I come from a workout.
There are larger ones but these are best for "spot" pain relief.
Who knew that just having the velcro in place would make all the difference? I have used these for after my runs if I feel any aches in my shins or calves. These also work well for feet and ankles too.
My daughter had shin splints from running and tumbling- these helped. She has super skinny legs but they fit fine- can’t walk with them.
Have had shin splints for many years and always use ice packs after running, so I would sit with my legs up for a while. Now with these I can just sit normally or walk around while cooling. Stick well and stay in place. My only complaint is that they warm up faster than the ones I used to have.
Great product, exactly wht I was looking for to ice my chins after a run. The ice packs get very cold. A microfiber washcloth works great in between the ice pack and the skin.
